pingpong
I took the A route. You dont need to go down too low, just enough tucked in the lower body is fine then up through a small kinda of a hole in the lower right. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Â Â the heck? lol y didnt you just rewire from the inside and have the wires comming out of the hole on the back of the gearbox?
Ilupis
Got the wires through the gearbox. Thanks for the help. Another question about the hopup. What buckings do you use? So far I've tried VFC, Marui and Prometheus ones and none of them worked so well. VFC and marui had quite a poor accuracy and Prometheus jammed the bb's into the hop chamber. I've heard some good stuff about Guarder and KM buckings so how are these? Maybe the cold winter here in the north makes everything malfunctioning
alpha54
Prometheus are pretty much the best out there - they work amazingly for everyone I know that uses them... not sure what went wrong with yours... Â I use a Guarder Soft Bucking, just because Prometheus were out of stock when I placed my last order, and it seems to work great as well - very accurate!
pingpong
dont waste ur time wit different buckings.. for some reasonwthey dont really fit in the VFC hopup.. Â the setup i have is.. Â STOCK VFC Bucking + Madbull X Spacer (Sharkfine thing) Â so far its running really well.. more accuracte then stock! and the hopup is more sensitive.. alpha54
Lookin' good dude! Â Any idea how to get the flash hider off the 14.5 inch barrel extension though? It seems to be glued on or something, I haven't been able to get it off...
Ilupis
Just take a good hold of your extension so that the flash hider points to the left and turn the extension counterclockwise and at the same time turn your flash hider clockwise. When done the first time, it requires some brutal force but eventually it'll come off.
pingpong
for me i didnt have to twist that hard. Â but yea just twist it clockwise. since it is a negative thread. Â there should be a O ring in there. n no its not glued. its just really tight in there.
alpha54
I don't know if its just me, but that thing seems to be attached bloody hard. Â I've tried with pliers and a vice and I couldn't get it off!
pingpong
just tiwst as hard as you can.. Â use some dishwashing gloves too..
Doncommie
Do any tight barrels actually fit the 416? As far as I can see neither of the barrel sizes match up to the commonly sold ones.
alpha54
I use a standard 363mm tightbore for my 14.5 inch HK416, fits perfectly!

Ravent25
No, it's my 11.1 lipo unit.. Do they make a 3 round burst adapter?? Edited February 28, 2007 by Ravent25
Onerimeuse
Thanks for all the technical advice everyone, I've only skirmished mine once so far, but if it locks up and autos on me, I'll know where to go. From what I can tell, mine does the opposite, wher it won't register the change in the fire selector, and I'll find myself squeezing the trigger without it doing anything. meh, I'll take it apart one of these days.  No, it's my 11.1 lipo unit.. Do they make a 3 round burst adapter?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}>  Yeah, I think it was Airtronics or someone who made a little adapter that went between the battery and wherever the battery connects. I guess it regulates the flow to only allow 3 shots when using full auto. kinda cool, and easy to put in and take out. there's info on the forums about it.  I don't know why any one hasn't put one of the G&P short stocks on these.. I'm waiting for mine to arive, and then I'll put up a picture.
mike2156
I've got a small question. How many FPS does this gun shoot out of the box? Polish shops state it's 360 FPS, and on WGC it is between 325 and 335. I don't know which number is the true one
