SlvrDragon50
Yea.. I just bought a BH Serpa holster for my glock... how in the world do you mount it? Does it mount onto molle? Drop leg? Belt? What? +1..
666cowboy
I belive the "loop and paddle" if thats the right terminalogy is fitted over the belt. I am not sure how the molle would work. some examples http://www.lapolicegear.com/blsetaho.html
[BS]_MARS
Good luck with the SERPA.
Marine47
Good luck with the SERPA. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> why do you say that?
sirrith
if you want to mount it on a MOLLE setup, you'll need an adaptor thing(used to be able to find on supreme co, but dont know where it went..), for dropleg, you need the tactical holster platform. for belt, use the paddle it comes with
SlvrDragon50
Ah shucks.. I only have a belt..and I dont want to buy the adaptor I have a tac belt and I dont know if it will fit around it.. Is there a way to make an adaptor? Or should I just buy a belt.. joeking27
I've used zip ties to hold it on to a wide belt with the belt loops bit on the back. If you thread it right its pretty good, although probably not as secure as the STRIKE panel.
SlvrDragon50
Do you think I could make my own way of attaching it using velcro straps?
ColSanders
For the belt adapter you have to take off this little adjusting bits on it and it fits 90% of two inch belts, I used it before I got the molle adapter just fine. Zip ties work and if you're crafty, Alice clips work too...
SlvrDragon50
Could you explain how I would use alice clips? And where Would I buy them?
specialops192
I have seen them attached to molle vests, but ive never asked how... ill do some research!
FarEast
To attach it to a Molle system you will need to purchase the BlackHawk CQC STRIKE Ambi Platform shown below: on the back are the straps that attach it to your molle system. To attach the holster you will need to remove the belt plate, very easy to do as you only need to unscrew it from the holster. Using the same screws attach the the holster to the plate, then attach to your kit.
SlvrDragon50
I know they make those, but Im not too interested in spending any more money.
Downslide
So basically what you guys are also saying is that the holster can be removed from the belt mount and attached to the dropleg platform?

SlvrDragon50
Didnt see anything that was helping.. Unless the part about it may not fit?
Sinner101GR
or go for the drop leg holster mount.
SlvrDragon50
Id still have to pay money to buy the mount, and then I would have to buy the platform.
Sale
Well it had useful info about an airsoft Glock in a real SERPA. On the topic, the mounts included with the SERPA will allow you to mount it on just about any belt you can imagine. For drop legs and MOLLE, you need to buy a proper mount. Don't cut corners here, or the platform will not be steady. What good is a good holster if you use a flimsy attachment? -Sale
SlvrDragon50
I actually wouldnt mind using a belt... But the only belt I have is a belt from my cargo pants from Aeropostale... It does fit through teh BDU loops but I cant tell if the serpa holster will work as I do not have the holster yet.
Sale
The holster comes with a simple belt mount and a quick paddle mount. Off the top of my head I can't imagine a reasonable belt it wouldn't work with. -Sale
skyler8158
Also there are two small clips that can be removed to allow for a larger belt. I removed them and was able to fit my SERPA onto an Eagle duty belt.
SlvrDragon50
Alright, I just received my serpa holster and I love it.. But now comes the problem, I\'ve happen to decide that I like it on my belt but it gets in the way of my vest. I plan on selling the vest and getting a weesatch but I dont know if it will work together. Right now, the vest is sitting on top of the holster making it uncomfortable.. And oh yea.. DO you tuck in the jacket of the BDU? It covers my holster.
Sale
What vest do you have and how exactly does it get in the way? Maybe you could wear the vest higher or the belt lower. I always tuck in the BDU jacket to keep it out of the way. Leave it out when you're not wearing combat gear over it. -Sale
SlvrDragon50
Ah ok! I have a UTG Crossdraw but I plan on getting a Guarder weesatch. I cant really wear the vest any higher nor lower the belt... It is the belt on the UTG crossdraw that is primarily screwing up the holster.. Will a weesatch sit above the holster?
