Arnie Posted December 7, 2006 Report Share Posted December 7, 2006 Apparnetly the server speed of late has drawn to a crawl because the amount of emails being sent out for topic replies and messages was huge. This was causing a huge sendmail queue. I've switched our mail system on the forums over to SMTP sendmail rather than PHPMail as a test to see if this reduces the loading. If you don't get email reminders or messages in your email to tell you that there have been replies.. well you know that the test didn't work I'll see how things go in a few hours to see if this has helped.
