willnyc
The Box, not particularly stunning... Whats in the box, midcaps are stacked two on top of two The MAG midcaps lacks the HK markings of the Marui mag The MAG midcaps are also much more difficult to pull out as compared to the Marui mp7 mag which pops out and hangs once you pull down the mag release. With the MAG midcap you must hold down the mag release and use a little strength to pull the the midcap out, its definately not good for fast reloading because the part of the mag that catches on to the mag release is way too wide. Here it is compared to the marui mag catch This problem could be easily resolved by taking a dremel to it and simply peeling off the excess until it looks like the marui mag. The MAG midcaps are best loaded with a speedloader as the spring is tense and you will find it difficult to load by hand, if you dont have a speedloader invest in one. You may also want to spray a little silicone in the mag before you load the BBs or it might misfeed now and then. The last BB in the mag is not fired because the spring does not push out of the midcap like it does in the marui mp7 mag. But the last BB will be pushed out of the midcap and just sit on it. Ive heard that about 3 BBs get stuck in MAG midcaps in the M4 or MP5 versions of it, thats not the case here. The midcap fits the look of the MP7 perfectly Pros -cheap/inexpensive (47.99 USD shipped from eHobbyAsia) -feeds well -doesnt rattle but still has decent capacity -looks good on the MP7 Cons -difficult to reload -lack of HK markings Conclusion For those looking for some extra mags for a CQB game this is a great value, with a little dremel work, the major con of the mag can be fixed and you will have perfectly reliable spare mags for your MP7. nightfire6
I agree nice review a shame that no one has commented yet. The MAGs are pretty cheap So I Won't mind paying a little cash and a little mad for these mags.
willnyc
Thanks for the comments, I guess I reviewed too late as the MP7 fad seems to be over...
tome
I just received a pack of these mags and found that they fit nicely in the Well MP7 (R-4) without any modification to the mag catch bit. When I press the release they fall out easily so they've either changed the mold or the Well MP7 was designed with the MAG magazines in mind. They also happen to fit 2 to an M4 mag pouch
