Silas5150
It comes with an adapter for an external rig, so I'm sure you could. I even bet there will be some ingenenious guys (maybe girls...) that will rig up a way to supply the gearbox from a tank stored in an M16 full stock.
Carson
That would be pretty cool.
visionviper
It comes with an adapter for an external rig, so I'm sure you could. I even bet there will be some ingenenious guys (maybe girls...) that will rig up a way to supply the gearbox from a tank stored in an M16 full stock. Well, Madbull was working on it. But hearing the latest news, I don't think it will be coming out.
Wraith18A
So far as I can tell looking at the schematic, all it would be a matter of is opening the gearbox, moving and lengthening the hose that connects it to the gas resevoir, and then putting the connector into the buttstock. Then figuring out how or what kind of cylinder to use that would fit in the stock... Problem is that you'd still be left with having the regular grip, with nothing in it. And you can't put in a real steel one, the attachment point isn't threaded.
nighthawk1221
hmm today is the day they were supposed to release it.. any news?
Silas5150
I haven't been contacted by anyone yet, but even if it was released today, retailers won't get it for at least a business week. If I'm not contacted by Airsoft GI by the end of this week, I'll ask Madbull about what's going on again.

Donut
I can't wait... I'm already starting to save up on a full metal M4, I'd go for a Classic army one except that the CA flat rail is out of spec.

Carson
I hope they make more of these. i'd love to put one of these babies in my m4 then attach it to a high volume external rig either fitted on my belt or in the solid stock.

Death By Cadbury
They (madbull) made it out like this was going to revolutionize airsoft, and now it seems theyre desperate to get the project closed, ship out small numbers of the gearbox, and move onto other (read: more lucrative) projects. If thats the way it ends up, and it doesnt really become "mass produced" the madbull gearbox will be a blip on the airsoft radar. a shame, really.
Donut
I hope not... I want one so badly in an all metal M4...
nighthawk1221
thank goodness i preordered one haha hope it comes in soon
Death By Cadbury
if i had preordered one, the fact that its gonna be obscure would worry me. there wont be as much discussion about it, and replacement/upgrade parts are made that much less likely.
Wege
Should be minimal moving parts.

k_man
New Zealand is waiting. With a ban on autos new guns are a bit slim on the ground.
themanwithnoname
From the looks of it, mad bull is trying to become a major airsoft accesory, maybe even work up to making AEGs, but they are starting to realize the sheer complexity of the products they promised. (no offfence) Any more emails?
