"Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?"

Digicon "blunderbuss"? So we've had the Digicon Contender 8, 13 and 20 inch, so what's next? Well, not wanting to be repetative in any way Digicon have now released the Contender 30inch, as seen on DEN's website.

Click here to visit DENTo be fair it's a heck of a lot of bang for the buck, and at 450fps out the box it's not bad for 200USD. Performance will be good (in terms of power and accuracy), but a 30 inch barrel won't last long if you accidentally fall on it, or knock it against something solid. It's worth remembering that you'll need a hop-up upgrade to obtain an acceptable sniper pistol/rifle range.

Personally I can't wait for the next release from Digicon, I mean a 40inch pistol would be, erm 'huge' (ahem). ^_^ In the world of stupidly long and silly pistols, the Joker is king.

Section VI updates: Scott has just informed us of some recent updates to the SectionVI website. Added in the past few days to their website you'll find reviews of the TM Mk23 Springer (lovely thing that it is), Bolle Defender Goggles, and very long and comprehensive article covering the Western Arms Steyr Voigt Infinity Series. All of these articles/reviews are definately worth a read, particularly the WA SV comparison review.

In development at TM and other places: Thanks to (Jack Traven of ESWAT for pointing out this link). Found on this website (you can find the translated link here) are details from various manufacturers of items that they have in development. Now don't get your hopes up, as some of these may never ever ever come to light. So what's in the works? Well here are some interesting replicas of note:

  • Tokyo Marui - There are numerous bits and bobs from TM, including an MP40 AEG, GBB Walther P38 , GBB Sig P229 and there are also ghostly whispers that TM may release their Mossberg M590-A1 spring shotgun in the future. The Cz75 1st Edition is also mentioned, but it seems a 2-3 year wait is expected for that release.
  • WesternArms - It would seem that WA have had an M93r in the works for some time (6 years.. wow), although a release date is still unknown. Put me down for two!
  • Maruzen - It is mentioned that Maruzen have plans to build an Armalite range (M4/16s) in the future, although no release date is given. Penciled in for 2002 release are the WALTHER P38 commercial, and the full-auto Colt Government, but we knew that one ^_^.

Again a big thank you goes out to Jack Traven for pointing this one out.

Airsoft Dynamics updates: Airsoft Dynamics have updated their website with several humourous stories. For some reason the update date on their page is incorrect (they were added very recently though). For a deeper meaning as to why the stories are there and where they are from, read on:

"...Is everybody sitting comfortably? Them I'll begin... While visiting on of our favorite Online Haunts, The Airsoft Discussion Forums we came across a few short stories featuring the Airsoft Dynamics Staff. Seen as they where so good we have decided to publish them here for the world to see!"

Monsters in Motion PulseRifle kit: At last, an affordable PulseRifle kit! Jerry at Monsters in Motion has sent in the first pictures of their completed kit to convert your standard (and rather boring) Thompson into something a bit more interesting. So what's the latest? Well below I've added what Jerry said, and the product information straight form their website. Do be aware that resin kits require moderate skills to assemble, and are not as robust as their ABS couterparts.

"...we would like to inform you and your viewers that the Monsters In Motion (created by Tek Arms) is now ready for shipping. This is a resin kit that can be used to change your Tokyo Marui Thompson Submachine Gun into a working version of the Pulse Rifle for only $299! We are also going to be offering build-up services for the model only for $600. (click here for a larger image)

Also we are offering an economy "skirmish" ready version for $1000. This version is a built and painted pulse rifle kit with the TM Thompson conversion already done and comes fully assembled. This version obviously does not include a working shotgun or counter and does not have any metal parts besides what is on the TM Thompson. For more information and how to order, visit our website at www.monstersinmotion.com or for a direct link to the Pulse Rifle page..."

M41A Pulse Rifle Model Kit: "This is the most accurate resin kit of the famed M41A Pulse Rifle to date! This kit is identical to our working version except that it is all made out of resin and is a static display piece. With minor modifications, you can install the Tokyo Marui M4Al Thompson Airsoft Gun into it and make your own working pulse rifle! (Sling, metal parts, and counter not included.) RRP 299 USD " (click here for a larger image)

M41A Pulse Rifle Model Kit Metal Upgrade: "Upgrade your M41A Pulse Rifle Resin Kit with these metal parts. Metal parts included are the front end venting, front end barrel stablizer and sling loop, and the sliding stock. With these metal parts you will be able to sling your pulse rifle which is not possible with the resin only kit. Shipping March 2002, but go ahead and order now. We will consider it a preorder and will not charge you till the item ships. RRP 100 USD " (click here for a larger image)

Click here to visit http://crash.to/seriemordarnaSwedish week? Mats Tufvesson (aka Marsupilami) has emailed in to tell us of their own Airsoft movie clips. The clips are good, but do be aware that some of them are very large.

"Since it seems to be 'Swedish week' over at Arnies this week, I might as well let you know that we have about a dozen movies/clips on our team site (Seriemördarna, Sweden) at: http://crash.to/seriemordarna . They are located under 'Filmer'."

M870 custom parts: We all know that thanks to the quality of Airsoft replicas, accessories from real-steel equipment will normally fit without problem or with a small amount of work. Well thankfully the Maruzen M870 is no exception to this rule, as Andrew Newton has proved with the modifications to his own Maruzen M870.

Andy fitted a new stock, heatshield, and shell holder to his M870, to give it a much more radical look.

Read the rest of the article to see how the parts were fitted, and where they were bought from.

ZM Front viewNew at Wolf'sLair written by KillerWolf - Thursday, February 21, 2002
Wolf's Lair have been very quiet of late (on the web front that is). Wolf Armouries, their retail shop outlet, has relatively recently moved to a new site in Camden Town London with a newly designed shop layout. So why haven't we heard much ? Well they've been busy that's why. :o)

Business has been booming for them, they have been quietly working on a new website, and (from the looks of the images I've just received) been producing some absolutely gorgeous new custom replicas. So what have we got? Well read on to discover the latest from Wolf, including a spanky new Armalite replica (the ZM) - Arnie

Please note: All the images below are of the prototype models. Click on any of the images for a larger version ReadMore...

News from Sweden: Johan Munkestam aka Zarkow, is the webmaster for Team STA's website (SASF - sv. translated means: Swedens Airsoft Federation, organisation under startup), and has been kind enough to send in some news from them, including some links to some rather useful applications. Here's what he had to say:

"STA was one of the first teams in Sweden around, together with AOS and CZT, and are still going stong with regulair skirmishes mostly every weekends.

I just updated the site to use an SQL-database to allow us to post more news more frecvently then before, and there including the editing by myself on an movie shut during the weekend of 9-10 of feb. with an real operator holding SIB/SWAT training in Skellefteå, Sweden.

The official page for the event is here: http://www.airsoft.ac/page/gallery/020209_OPF/. But being a friend to the organisors I also cut my own edited version of the event, that is beeing mirrored here.

Just wanted to add that I some time back made two small applications used here in Sweden by some players, to see FPS, m/s, J effects on bullets and so on.

  • PowerGraph: Shows an graph over the J a bullet has at 'running' fps / m/s values, and the ability to change bulletweight.
  • Powerlizer See the interchangability of fps,m/s and J with 0.20gr BBs (since 0.20 should always be used when Chrono'ing at games).

Both apps. are very self-explainatory, even if some text are in Swedish."

Birdman & friends: Things seem to have taken a bit of a sombre note of late (my fault - sorry..), so I thought it was about time we got things back rolling with some information to make your sides split, and your heads fall off. Okay a bit extreme but you get the general idea. ^_^

Click here to visit BirdMan.orgH aka (DolphinCommand) mailed in some info that I decided to formulate into a full fledged news post. First up on the laughter ladder is my personal all time favourite website BirdMan.org (BM).

We stumbled across the BM website many moons ago, and after I got back onto my chair (and regained the ability to type) I just had to make a news post about it. Well it's been some time that we mentioned the website here, so here you go again folks:

BirdMan.org "unfriendly weapons for an unfriendly world". Do be sure to read the Homeboy NyTe SyTeS product page:

"..how many times have you brandished your firearm in Hollywood's' 'sideways taunting fashion' only to find that you have no point of aim as a result? That's because there's nothing there to help you aim. HoMeBoY NyTe SyTeS are actually installed on the SIDES of you slide! Now when you make that 'Firearm Fashion Statement' you can actually hit what you are aiming at!"

Click here to visit EngrishEngrish - que? Well you can't beat a BM can you? - Well not really, but there are other equally funny websites out there. Number two in the oh my God it's Monday list is Engrish. Now if you've read Arnie'sAirsoft over time, words such as 'Japlish' and 'Dirty Halley' will be slightly more than familiar to you.

So what's Engrish? Well in as you'll know a lot of Airsoft equipment ends up with instructions composed of unintelligible guff - that's what we lovingly term 'Japlish'. This is where Engrish steps in. The author of the Engrish website lovingly collects photos of all the hilarious product labels an signs around Japan that just don't make sense.

I've enclosed an example image to the right of one of the comedy labels found on the Engrish website. Now to be fair these aren't really news updates, but Airsoft is fun.. the above are fun... aw sod it. It's my news page I can put up what I want. ^_^

If you really are completely bored I'd recommend reading the Japanese Pizza Webpage - These are actually "pizza"s in that they come under the loose definition of "being round 'breadlike' items topped with tomato, cheese and lumps of stuff (from the bottom of someone's kitchen bin by the looks of it)".

Click here to visit AOSAoS new movie: Well back to the 'normal' Airsoft updates. :) Tommy Mellberg has emailed in to tell us that AOS have added a new movie to their website of their last weekend skirmish.

Continuing the homorous theme of today's news posts, AOS's new movie is actually great fun to watch!

Click here to visit the forumsForums overhauled: I thought it was about time I did some housecleaning, so in a fit of inspiration I have severely overhauled our forums to give them a somewhat cleaner look.

The complete visual appeal to the forums has been changed but I have deliberately kept everything functioning the same way it always has (I tend to like things simple you see).

If you have any comments or feedback on any articles here, or just want to chat with the people behind this website you'll find us all in there. Do go on in and try things out, we're a nice bunch of folks, honest. ^_^

Please do checkout all the latest changes to our forums as your feedback is greatly appreciated.

New review up at RedWolf: Our buddies at RedWolf have just emailed in to update us of a new review they've put up. The new review is a comparison of the leading WA SV3.9 with the new KSC Glock 19. True to form the review is top notch, and of the quality that all 'softers should aim to produce.

"...with the recent release of KSC's Glock 19, we were curious to see how the new low priced contender would measure up against the more expensive and refined SV 3.9. Additionally, KSC's recent line of Glocks have clearly impressed many in the airsoft world, so we felt compelled to take a look at the latest Glock 19 as well.

We had also received numerous requests for reviews on both these guns so a head-to-head comparison seemed the perfect way to 'kill two birds with one stone'. We took both guns out for a day on the skirmish field, followed by some good solid testing time on the RedWolf shooting grounds..."

GB-Tech/AFV M249 Para: The custom parts made by GB-Tech/AFV to complete your own M249 Para are now much closer to completetion, as you can see from this image released by GB-Tech.

The GB-Tech/AFV M249 is (we gather) designed around a standard MP5 style AEG gearbox, although the details are somewhat sketchy still. As you can see from the product imagery, the 'Para' features a custom sliding stock, railed cover, and plenty of metal parts. The price is unconfirmed too, but you can expect a price of around 4-600USD for the kit of parts.

Source BBGunLand

New reviews at BB GunLand: Our friends over at BBGunLand have added three new reviews recently. Newly added you'll find a review of the Marushin M1892 Winchester (including imagery of the Randall Custom), a review of the KSC Ingram M11A1, and a review of original Marui AK Spetnaz (released back in '97?).

Updates at AirsoftNetwork: Added over the past 24hours to AirsoftNetwork you can find news of the following hot items:

  • Sheriff to Make M9 Parts
  • The Hudson Jericho 941
  • WA S&W Sigma .40 and New Shubiya Ltd. Edition

Marui Knights Silencer review: AirsoftCanada have a new review by Primus of the new Marui Knight's Pro silencer. Do be sure to check it out:

"...I've always wanted a QD silencer for my M4/SR16 but the prices always kept me away, I'm sorry but I wasn't about to pay 250$ for a QD silencer with flash hider. When I heard the news that Tokyo Marui were going to release a QD styled silencer I thought maybe I should get one finally. Then a bit later when the pictures came out of what it would look like and the estimated price I was sure I was going to get one! So here's the quick and dirty review of the TM Knight's Pro Silencer..."

Click here to visit SciFirearmsSciFirearms updates: Kurtis Harris has put online a wonderful article covering some news including an interesting idea that both Kurtis and myself have been talking about between us.

"...One thing that I have always liked about the Time Crisis series is the added realism of having to reload, being able to duck and hide, and a certain amount of recoil when the weapon is fired. However, in these politically correct times, the weapons have never been terribly realistic looking at the arcade, and are even less so for the home version. Namco has also seen fit to remove the recoil function in the home versions. All is not lost though. I had recently spoken to the owner of Arnie's AirSoft about the idea of converting an AirSoft pistol for use as a GunCon. At the time, he had suggested using Tokyo Marui's new EBB Desert Eagle. Unfortunately, we are both terribly busy, and it never got beyond an idea..."

AirsoftRetreat back online: AirsoftRetreat's news system is back online (yay!) after much downtime. Included in the news updates is an interesting pol called "What type of gun are you?". Apparently I'm either a Alliant Techsystems OICW or a Desert Eagle. :)

Guarder M249UUP(part1) written by Richard Chou- Friday, February 15, 2002

Richard sent has sent in some photos and a complete article that covers their recent release of Phaze One of their UUP. The article also covers details of their future plans including their new electric boxmag. ReadMore...

"...I have a wonderful news for everyone -- UUP Phase One for TOP M249 is finally released! We have produced three items in phase one of UUP: Steel Outer Barrel Set, Metal Feed Tray Cover and Enhanced Spring Set...When you installed both Steel Outer Barrel Set and Metal Feed Tray Cover on TOP M249, it becomes even more solid and the weight is about 6 kilograms!"

New Marui silencer: DJ Ashmore (Nautilus) has written a review of the (rather quietly announced) Marui Knights Silencer. The review is over at the French website ESWAT:

"...This particular product rather snuck up on the market here in Japan, and people have been so taken aback by its release that very little has appeared in the fan press concerning it. Truth to tell, Marui do not have much of a reputation for after market parts - not that they really need to bother with them - rather because when these people market a products they need to know that it will sell well enough to justify the time spent on it (for better or worse, as Stinger has pointed out many times, Marui are a profit driven concern these days - if they were anything else, ever)..."

Guarder Safety Eye Glasses review: The most important aspect of skirmishing is (well should be) your safety equipment, and particularly your eyewear. I have had the chance to test out some of Guarder's 'New-version Safety Glasses'.

Now please do take note of the serious warnings on the review folks - the limitations of safety glasses in skirmish scenarios should be understood, it's your personal decision as to whether you wear glasses, goggles or a full mask.

So what did I think of this product from Guarder? Well you'll have to read the rest of the review to see the results. ^_^

Competition closed: Our 1st Anniversary Competition is now closed and the winners will be drawn shortly. Many thanks to Matt Lutynski (aka Sniper) Tom Andrews of Elite Action Games, Jono of PhoenixAirsoft, AirsoftDynamics and WolfArmouries for their generous prize donations.

New project: Project 'Jericho' is now live. The idea behind this project is rather than to just build a nice custom replica and show it off, we're going to run the project 'live' as it were, and take use feedback and ideas onboard as it progresses. The project is to build an accurate replica of the MP5 from the film End Of Days. We are only two working days into the project so far, but things are looking good so far.

Checkout the project page here. We have plenty of imagery, and photos of everything as it stands at the moment. You can chat about the project in our forums on our dedicated thread. A word of warning, this project is my personal 'hubbie' at the moment, so a lot of time and care is going into it, so don't expect the project to be completed in a matter of days. Current ETA is another 7-9 days of work over then next couple of months.

RedAlert updates: RedAlert is an official dealer of IntruderShop's (to whom Guarder provide webspace) which has their own news and information website. Recently there's been a collection of updates, including:

Don't forget to use your favourite translation engine if you can't read the above pages. To be honest though it won't help you a great deal, as '.tw' pages don't tend to translate that well.

New updates? You may be wondering why there are limited news updates from the East at the moment. Well this is for good reason, with Chinese new year approaching the Airsoft industry itself is slowing down. For future releases it's worth noting we are still awaiting the release of the new Classic Army Armalite range, and the new TM NBB Mk23 socom pistol. The 8mm revolver range from Marushin is still due for imminent release.

New ICS parts: ICS have released another new grip for their MP5 range. This is basically a new Large Tactical Handguard (LTH) that is slightly slimmer than the original LTH release, and is designed to be used with a silencer. The grip can fit up to a 3000mAh 8.4v battery, which should be more than enough for even the most trigger happy skirmisher.

In other news they seem to have released a wooden box, no honest! Take a lookey here. If anyone has some insight into this release I'd love to know what on earth it's meant to be used for... I mean it's just a box isn't it?

Update (8PM): I've received a couple of emails with regards the the ICS box (thanks guys). The box is designed to withstand hits from high power AEGs, and contains a membrane like rubber structure that helps aquire and retain the BBs. Sounds ingenious, wierd but ingenious.

New review: Well I've finally finished one of the reviews that I have been working on. Sorry for the delay, but as I hope you'll find when you read it, a lot of work is going into my new reviews. I hope the wait has been worth it. Ladies and gents I give you the Tanaka M629 .44 magnum review.

"...Many moons ago I remember Herman bantering on about revolvers, and we were lementing at the time as to how there we plenty of choices out there, but none that quite fit the bill as a viable skirmish piece. The TM revolvers were nice looking, but woefully underpowered, the same went for the Marushin replicas, Tanaka made some at that point, but we took little interest in them. The only other choices were the Smokey's PPC kit's for the TM M19 revolvers, well short of selling a kidney on eBay these were well out the question...Then at the end of 2001 Tanaka launched their new PEGASUS range of revolvers.."

I have included some hi-res photos with this review to show off the replica's good looks, and you'll also find the complete manual and parts diagram with some added movies included.

I have a further 5-10 reviews of this quality in the works here. They'll be up when I get the free time to finish them. In the mean time, I hope you like this one. Please note that the review is very honest and impartial, although the replica was kindly donated to us for review by Wargamer's Shop(WGC) .

Beware all HK21 owners: GB-Tech, that loveable custom parts workshop would seem to be at it again, with some more groundbreaking releases. Spotted today, is the new HK21 kit for the G3 series, sorry guys but anyone with their own custom build HK21 will feel a bit sour with the release of this news.

The image was found at BBGunLand. As you can see this custom front end features a replacement grip, cocking tube, outer barrel, and some parts of the receiver, including a new beltfed system. The kit will almost certainly require a base of the TM SG1, as it uses the bipod from one. You can see it in the image to the left with modified feet added to it.

Pricing? Well as with most metal kits you should expect this kit to come in at 1-1.5 times the cost of the base replica. A price of around 400USD would seem a good guess (well it would, 'cos it's my guess :) ). Expect this kit to be hitting your local eastern retailers for export shortly. I for one have an SG1 with this kit's name on it, just begging to be gutted and turned into something slightly more interesting.

Custom M249 Boxmag written by 'The Gear Guys'- Wednesday, February 6, 2002

The Gear Guys, wanted to let everyone know that they are onto version 6 of their SAW box mags, so we've hosted LT's article here for him. So got an M249 and can't wait for TOP's version of the boxmag? Read More...
"...I just made 2 for friends of mine and they seem to be very good during skirmishes. An important NOTE - there are two types of SAW boxes I have seen recently. The version with the fins on the front has a much smaller internal width and will NOT fit hicap magazines as far as I have been able to ascertain. If you are using a custom loading system these still may be useful but if you are building a box mag similar to mine then I would recommend inquiring carefully before purchasing a SAW box for your project..."

V-MAT written by Miki Nakamura - Wednesday, February 6, 2002
Miki Nakamura (the CEO of TokyoHobby) has emailed in a set of photos and some text from V-Mat.

V-Mat is one of those wallet-breaking shows that you just wish you could go to, but the like of which sadly only tend to happen in Japan, thankfully Miki was there to take photos of the interesting bits for us :) . Read More...

"...The annual V-MAT exhibition in Japan gathers a militaria fans around the Japan and is well known event. The main organizers are besides the fans, Arms Magazine and the annual sponsoring company, which this year was Smokey's. Many groups of fans join the event such as US Special Forces group, German WWII military recreators, military surplus and gun shops, some manufacturers and publishers of magazines. The participants change every year, so things are always interesting for the fan..."

Click here to visit ADLots of new updates from AD: AirsoftDynamics(AD) have included a host of new updates recently, including a bunch of new list of custom FirstFactory parts, and a new page by the name of 'Special Items page' which contains a frequently updated list of 'special' items, including some interesting bits such as the 'Dog Fight Gun Automatic' series of AEG hi-cap magazines.

"...New First Factory Carbon Silencer: At 270mm in length, constructed from aluminum wrapped in a carbon element. It is a functioning silencer with cotton wadding inside the tube, the silencer is attached to the gun using a 14mm thread adaptor.

New First Factory Remote Switch: With the introduction of some many rail systems and rail mounted torches First Factory have produced a remote switch for your Surefire torches! Great Idea!

First Factory MP5 Mag Catch: For all you MP5A5 / A4 /SD / K / PDW Owners out there, your prayers have finally been answered by First. This simple device bolts to the front of your MP5 Series magazine well and eliminates the chance of splitting the frame of the gun!

NEW First Factory AERO Outer Barrel: A direct replacement for the standard Maruzen APS2 outer barrel, the barrel is fluted with the front end unscrewing allowing the fitting of an MP5K adapter with which you can add any standard 14mm threaded silencer to the end of the gun..."

These new updates are well worth looking at, as there's more that can reasonably be mentioned on the news page here. Nice one guys!

TokyoHobby update: I have received a few emails from concerned customers that have had problems with orders placed with TokyoHobby. The problems have all (expect one) come from US customers. Today Miki released this announcement:

"...We are upgrading to a new delivery system that will allow us to deliver the orders on door-door basis within maximum of five days from the order payment receival. The new system is being installed during February and early March.

As a result of this, all US private customer sales have been stopped and any pending orders will be cleared before the new system is operational. No new orders will be accepted anymore. The decision is made mutually with the delivery company due to product modification and security reasons.

Orders from other countries are accepted as normally and will be shipped out during the transition phase. Any pending orders of EMS, surface and SAL nature will be cleared as well. Your co-operation will be highly appreciated and we will be looking forward to provide you a faster, more affordable and more reliable service with our new courier delivery system..."

We ask that anyone with an outstanding order with TokyoHobby contacts both us and TokyoHobby as soon as possible. Please use our forums to provide us with honest feedback, we want to know what your complaint is so that we can be sure that it's been sorted out. Miki wants to clear up any customer complaints quickly an efficiently, and we wholely support him in that effort. Please direct your feedback (good or bad) here.

Monster's In Motion new Airsoft products: Jerry Avalos has sent in some more news with regards to Monsters in Motion's (MiM) latest releases. Not only do we have news of their latest work on the M63a Stoner, but also news of the PulseRifle conversion kit, the modern GBB H&K PDW, a new working PKD (the pistol from BladeRunner), and also info about their products such as the little known Vampire Hunter M11. MiM are also looking to make a G36 Commando when they've finished the development of their current planned latest releases - stay tuned for more info. Here's what Jerry had to say:

"...Yes we are in the early stages of research and development of the M63 Stoner. We are engineering it with the consumer/player in mind, meaning it will be both durable and versitile, as well as having a competitive price. It will take the standard "Marui" type internals. If you visit our website here you will see a rough prototype of the M63 Stoner.

MIM's prototype HK PDW (GBB)

This project will be heavily put into production after our current projects are finished. The first three of which may also interest you. Due out in approximately 3 weeks will be H&K's new PDW gas blowback. This is not the PDW that is based off the MP5, but rather the new model PDW. Concurrently we will be offering a gas operated PKD (the pistol used in Bladerunner) with the molds actually being based off of the originals used in the movie.

Shortly after the releases of those two replicas, look for our G36-Commando.

Please take time to browse through our airsoft section, it is currently still under construction but you will recognize some of the world's most unique airsoft products. Such as our newly released Vampire Hunter MK1 (as seen in the movie Blade), or the ever popular fully working airsoft version of the Aliens Pulse Rifle.

We also in the last days of completing an Airsoft pulse rifle conversion kit. For $299.99 USD you can get resin parts to convert a Marui Thompson to a working version of the pulse rifle..."

Many congratulations to you and your better half bud, now get some sleep!

Click the pictures to the right for a larger image. I'm sure Rob would appreciate emails of congratulation, so if you would like to wish him and his wife all the best, please do send him an email. I can't think of a happier note to start this month's news with. More updates to follow!

M63A Stoner in production: Zach emailed in to let us know that according to Jerry at Monsters in Motion (MiM), they are shortly going to be producing their own custom M63A Stoner. From MiM: "It will be based off of standard marui-type internals and will be a skirmish intended weapon.". For those of you that don't know, MiM are one of the few companies to produce quailty working Airsoft PulseRifle replicas.

Airsoft Centteri: Ari Hallami also recently mailed us to let us know about his own website 'Airsoft Centteri', which is apparently one of the best known in Finland. The website features a nice tidy design, and although not in English is well worth a browse.

New video online: We have a nice review up of the Maruzen MP5k firing from Bulldog. Erm.. well all I can say is wow! I don't think I've ever seen a magazine emptied so fast. The movie is about 900k in size, and in Windows Media format.

New Tanaka review online: Thanks to Ken (aka 888) we have a lovely review of the Tanaka S&W M29 .44Magnum 8-3/8inch online. Well if you're a regular you'll know we love the new Tanaka revolvers, so we won't pound you with too much in the likes of 'buy one now!'..oops. "Pwerfect fow for hunting wabbits":

"...The Tanaka revolvers work on the PEGASUS system (Progress, Effective Gas Universal System). Basically, this is just a catchy acronym to explain the unique mechanism Tanaka has created. Instead of storing gas inside the handle, gas is stored in the cylinder. The hammer hits a strike pin which will depress the valve releasing gas to fire a bb.  Because the BB sits right in front of the release, (and because it is a non-blowback) the Tanaka revolvers kick out plenty of power. As a matter of fact, Tanaka revolvers will put out more power than any GBB on the market with similar inner barrel length..."
