Tuesday, January 30, 2001 8:12 PM Well after many hours (of which I really should have been doing other things) I have finished the first draft of my SG1 review, you can find it here, under the reviews page. I've created another page which has all the images of the SG1 on it, including some screen-caps from the movie 'Heat' . Arnie

Tuesday, January 30, 2001 3:11 AM I've got some more reviews and information scheduled for posting. I plan to get the following reviews (with pictures) online : AK47, AK74, M1A Carbine, G3SG1 and the MP5K. I also plan to get online a comprehensive page detailing the fitting of an Systema FTK to an AK47, which I want to do this weekend, assuming the parts are available. With any luck all of this should be online by the end of the week. Arnie

Saturday, January 27, 2001 2:28 PM Right, the links section is currently undergoing a well earned overhaul, I've added links to some of my favourite websites dEFCON4 / Team A.S.S.I.S.T / Scorpio VI . I'm trying to promote web-traffic so hopefully you'll find me appearing in the link sections of some of the more well-known sites. Arnie

Saturday, January 27, 2001 1:15 PM Damn, bugger, blast and a foul curse upon the spreader of this heinous rumour ! Oh well, that's what rumours are like, the M203 Pistol, firstly, only fires TM shells (so it's basically a shotgun, which sucks). Secondly it's only a prototype.... For my severe firepower needs in CQB I'll just have to stick to a lovely M79 then. Thanks go out the the guys on the Airsoft.org D-Boards for the info. Arnie

Saturday, January 27, 2001 6:15 AM I've heard rumours of a M203 style pistol that fires the 40mm Angs shells..... I'll post any info I can find. Has anyone else seen anything about it ? I've added a page for it to my reviews section. I'll add any info I find about the weapon there. Arnie

Saturday, January 27, 2001 6:10 AM I actually paid for something for the site today. I bought the domain name 'arniesairsoft.co.uk' for just under £10 for 2 years. I wasn't actually planning on making any financial outlay on the site at all, but given how cheap the address was I thought I might as well get it. The DNS address will take 24-48 hours to register, so it should work by Sunday night. The current address 'arniesairsoft.cjb.net' will stay as a mirror URL indefinitely, but I'm going to advertise the new address as soon as it's running (hopefully it'll be more reliable than the cjb.net URL). Arnie

Tuesday, January 23, 2001 2:36 AM Well I fixed a few broken links in the 'Project' section, it seems that Macromedia UltaDev gets it's pants in a bit of a twist with some relative links... anyway, I'm not meant to be updating the website, I'm meant to be working. Oh well, back to the grindstone. Arnie

Monday, January 22, 2001 11:51 PM Help! - I'm looking for details on construction parts for an MC51k. I have a page with an image of the SMG I am talking about. If anyone has such a weapon I'd appreciate any details on where they got it, and/or how they built it. The only quote I have got so far is for a fully constructed one from The Q-Project . Any help greatly appreciated, thanks. Arnie

Monday, January 22, 2001 2:01 AM Having come across so many sites with so many rather nice props, I thought I'd compile a page with some of the props that seem to be feasable as Airsoft replicas, or projects. The idea, is to expand the concept of my M40A1 page to other movie classics. I have no idea how useful it will be, but it gave me something to do for an hour or two. You can find the new page under 'Projects' here. Arnie

Monday, January 22, 2001 0:05 AM I found rather a fun site, that lists a whole load of old Sci-Fi weapon props over at SciFiHollywood. It'd be nice to see some airsoft replicas of some of these coming out. When I get round to it, I'll put a page up with images of the guns I'd like to see made, and some I may try on my own when I get a chance. Arnie

Saturday, January 20, 2001 11:10 PM I'm back! - well kinda. I don't have much time, as for the next 2 weeks I have university exams. I'm putting this up while I take a break. I came across this rather nice article on 'Decker's Blaster' at RACProps, it makes rather fun reading, have a look while I get back to sorting my life out. Arnie

Tuesday, January 16, 2001 2:29 AM A few things have come up that have meant that I won't be able to update the site for a couple of weeks. Sorry folks. I'll get the new content online when I get a free moment. My apologies, but circumstances out of my control have arisen, and as I am the sole creator of the website, things will have to go on hold.

If you'd like to be notified when the site is updated - send me an email, with 'website update subscribe' in the title. Arnie
