  1. I know a guy, shopowner, who has close connections with airsoftassist. If you want me to, I might look to order a set for you.

Thanks for the offer but Beast06 has sent me details on where to possibly get hold of Modify parts in the U.K and Modify themselves are willing to sell to me direct so i think I'm sorted.

A quick note to those who can't seem to get hold of them, if you email Modify direct then they should be willing to sell you a few parts direct with payment via PayPal.

  2. Link?

I spoke to the guys at Modify who tell me they have no distributors within Hong Kong and none in the U.K, I've been unable to find these anywhere in the U.K and the European distributors won't sell to me in less I buy in bulk.

The post I made a few days back,

This was the exact same question I wanted to know a few days ago. After emailing them it turns out that they have no distributors within Hong Kong, there are a few places online based in the US that sell a range of Modify parts.

Here is their European distributor list which i got through today from them, they all look like wholesale to me but it might be worth asking them if they'll sell direct to the consumer. Failing that I was told by Modify that if these places won't sell to you then you can order direct from Modify. They also have some new 'Full tune up kits' at what seem like very reasonable prices.

    Distributor list:

    1) Italy: Tactical & Technology, website: www.tacticaltechnology.it, Email: sales@tacticaltechnology.it and their number is (+39)0331734205.

    2) Belgium: Airsoft Assist, website: www.airsoftassist.eu. Email: info@airsoftassist.eu

    3) Finland: PCB-Comp Oy, website: www.pcb-airsoft.com, Email: mika.mikkola@pcb-comp.com

    4) Germany: StormTec, website: www.stormtec.com, Email: fthurner@stormtec.com

    Sniperairguns, website: www.sniperairguns.de, Email: info@sniperairguns.de

There full tune up kits are around the $130 mark, at least i think it's in dollars.

Note: I do not work for Modify in anyway :P

  3. Best slide currently available would seem to be the one by SD (shooters design), the engravings are nice and deep and it comes in a nice finish. It costs a fair but though, almost twice as much as the gun.

Theres also the G&G version but I've not heard much about it.

  4. Yes, the AGM M14 will fit these EBR kits as there pretty much exact copies of the Marui M14. Wgc have done this and sell the gun complete, albeit with the G&P kit, i don't see why it shouldn't work with the King arms or the TGS kits and if it doesn't then it will most likely be a simple case of filing some material off the clone gun.

  5. If you buy the JG g36c from gunner airsoft, does it come with the original black flash hider? How about stores in the USA?

Not sure about purchasing the U.S but when i got mine from RSOV it came with the original black flash hider and an orange cap.

edit button gone, but another question: does the material for the body appear to be the same stuff as CA(fiberglass? nylon?) or TM(ABS?)?

It's ABS plastic like the Marui one, only for the price I'd say the JG is better, quality is is just as good too.

I believe that the version 1's had some mechbox issues with the bushings being a real tight fit, with very few after market ones fitting. i think the version 2 fixes this problem.

  6. It is possible to mod the real one to fit as a user here on Arnies has but the time and trouble you'll have to go through doesn't make it worth it, better off with the Airsoft version.

  7. G&G make an MSG90 kit that includes the fore grip, they sell the MSG90 stock separately. Theres two versions of the stock, the older version and the new 2007 edition that costs the odd $30 more.

The fore grips and stocks just mount straight onto a G3SG1.

  8. How well would users compare the strength of the folding stock part with a TM G36c?

It looks a little shiny in the pictures - is that just the flash or is it noticably cheaper quality plastic?

Well, i can hold the gun by the stock with there being no flex at all, it's plenty strong.

It has a mat, textured finish too it. It doesn't look shiny in person.

  9. I got my JG guns through the post today, great guns, well worth the money and you can't really tell the difference to the TM counterparts. The JG G36c has got to be my favorite, it's the version two and shoots beautifully.

Grab the JG, save some money and still get a damn decent gun!
