I use a standard MIAD with my Sopmod, no problems at all.

Is there an easy fix to make the bolt catch reliable? Some of my mags wont lock up properly, and the little nub feels somewhat soft.

The Club:

Currently holds 6 mags, but I might get another mag pouch. I'm also looking into attaching some sort of hydration to the back.

Cool! I might mod a LE-buttstock to work with the wireing and use lipos in the stock tube. Not as a normal thing, but could be cool sometimes.

What happens if I remove the recoil-thing from the stock tube? Could I play without it? Would this reduce wear and battery consumption etc?
Not planning on doing it really, but interested in options.

Why the hell would it not have an ambi selector? Pretty much all H&K guns have them as standard these days - G36, MP7, UMP, XM8...
Pretty sure the norwegian HK416 has ambi selector.

I'm happy with mine, but it's not perfect (yet). The selector is kinda loose, and I can easily shift it past semi. Is there any way to tighten it? The pistol-grip is pretty wobbly, and I tried tightening it, is there any other way to make it sit in place? Would a real one fit properly? Where can I get a non-ribbed top cover? My VFC is a couple of millimeters too long and won't lock in place. The upper hanguard is also slightly looser than my VFC, but nothing I can't fix.
If people are interested, I could make a external comparison-thing between the DG/Kalash AKS-74 and my VFC AK-74M

I'm considering buying an AK74M after the summer, and this really helps! Chrono-results would be much appreciated, especially if you could test the stability on full auto.
