So I ordered a Kalash RK-10S FULL STEEL AKMS from UNCO, and it arrived yesterday.
It's not steel, at least not all of it.
The reciever and stock are both steel, but the rear sight block (Don't know what this is called), front sight and gas block are all pot metal.
Also, the "wood" looks like MDF or something. My friend has one as well, and the wood looks like actual wood on his.
I would like a partial refund, but I'm not very optimistic.
What should I do?

Grandaddy of suppressed guns...
VSR10 based DeLisle Carbine:
SNIPPY SNIPPY
Oh my...
Any more pictures of it, WIP maybe?
-
Part list on that SD please!
Specifically the flashlight mount.
-
Firefly0: Yeah, I've seen those, they are quite beautiful, and yours is an excellent race gun.
Pity that no one makes a standard anodized slide and barrel though.
-
Why does no one make a standard 34 slide & barrel assembly for the TM G17?
Only two tone, bull****. I want a standard one!
-
Looking at this picture, and according to imfdb.com, it seems like Delta uses M727.
-
If you look closely, the flash light mount seems to be a bit wider than the barrel in the end we can see.
Seems to me that it's hugging the barrel at the rear end, and floating around it at the front, thus the barrel should be of different diameter at those two points.
Maybe.

She's all cleaned-up.
You really should upload those babies in full resolution!

Where can one get the ra tech gbb drop in kit?

GRIM: Is that the Tru-Spec marpat?
Also, I've been leaning towards MFR loadout myself, what besides green jumpsuit and marpat is issue?

CAR-15 are generally assembled from whatever spare parts that are in inventory at the time. My carbine is correct, and so is yours judging from the description you have given.
The term "older" is relative. Introduced in the eighties, the A2 upper receiver is considered old today. Personally, I believe that the first M733s had A1 upper receivers and barrels. Later versions are essentially shortened M16A2s, and the latest versions are quite similar to the CQBR. Colt refers to all of them, collectively, as CAR-15s.
Thank you! I didn't know all this, and this discussion has given me a lot of information that I find interresting.
Didn't mean to upset anyone from the beginning, 'tis just that my english isn't perfect, and I'm a little lazy.
-
The M733 is currently marketed by Colt as the "M4 Commando."
I thought the current M4 Commando was marketed as m933, with the changed upper reciever, flash hider and variable trigger group.
The upper receiver is correct for an older M733.The A2 upper is correct for the older Commando? The older Commando with the thinner barrel had the A1 upper, before the A2 was introduced, right?
-
I don't know, man.

Does it look like a modified M733 to you now?

How do you like the business end? Would you like an XM177E2 moderator with that?
snip
Still not convinced?
snip
That good enough for you?

And there's me, cradling my rifle.
Perhaps this will help you decide?

I don't know, man.
I'm not trying to come off as an *albatross*, as previously suggested, but if we're going to get specific, the upper reciever and barrel is wrong for an m733.
I've still have my TM "m733", but I've added a correct (if it is exact that is) G&P upper and lower, as well as the G&P front set with the thinner barrel and older flash hider.
It looks a lot like a short m16a2 with an XM-something flash hider though.
Still, not trying to be an *albatross*, just madly in love with the real m733, Heat is my favorite movie of all time.
-
Reborn im not sure whats nicer that g3 or your m733
I'd say it's pretty easy, since there's no m733 in his picture.
-
I need to man the *fruitcage* up and get one, asap.
Otherwise I'm just going to delay, and delay, and delay, and delay....
-
no,it's made by HG BUNKER from Slovenia, very good stuff,at acceptable price,1000D nylon
Ok, why the hell is there a Zaku Machinegun on the bottom left of that page?
-
First post here, now i also got a Crapalite
Gun looks amasing, the worn off paint is great.
The stock looks a bit flat though, going to give it the same worn paint treatment as the rest of the gun?
Presterar bra?

Its a BSA deerhunter 2.5x
Anything more to the name than that?
I'm trying to find a retailer in sweden, but Midway Sweden only has a BSA 2.5x20 pistol scope.
Would it work in the larue style SPR mount?
Or is your scope 30mm?
-
Tiny M4 with Tiny scope. Aww, its so cute!
What Tiny scope is that? Beautiful gun!

I've been thinking about building a detonics with a suppressor, so my question is; is there a threaded barrel for the TM Detonics out there?
