Precisely. Thanks for that Yee.

The title says it all folks. Hopefully those that don't check the rules will at least see the title before the umpteenth such post here appears.
If you have over 100 posts and can't see the sales section, you may need to make one post to update your status (this error happens with users who haven't posted since the sales access rule was changed).
If that doesn't work and you still can't see it, PM me or Arnie.
Finally, a friendly reminder: spamming the forum to increase your post count is unacceptable, and will not go unnoticed by the moderating team.

Spider Dan was made aware of the rules on his entry here, and then decided, after reading them to ignore them and spam like silly regardless.
Because of this his post count has been inverted.
I'm not quite sure how 'I'm going to leave this forum' is punishing anyone here. If a person neither checks the rules before posting and then flouts them anyway, then I dare say they're probably best off somewhere else.

It's very sturdy. You just need the strength of ten men to release the stock.
-
Glen,
I'm still waiting, I'm afraid! Did you send them or would it be easier if I just upload something?
-
Yep, the stiffness of the stock pin was the major issue I had with it in the review I wrote.
Slightly offtopic, but I can honestly say I had no issues with pins falling out of the magazine though...Do you mean the pins which hold the internals into the shell?
-
With steel KA mags there was no issue with fitting / feeding in mine.
-
Pinned this - thanks Samm. The images probably are better than the previous guidance on how to deal with it.

Moving swiftly on...

If folks are happy with the html link provided as raw text in the warn dialogue (rather than with html tags referenced), I'd concede that I personally would be happy to follow a rule.
That said, as I'm merely an admin by proxy, so I'll put this to the rest of the team. If we're in agreement I'll be happy to make it part of the process of implementing warn.
-
It's a nice idea, but I'm afraid I'm with the moderator (whoever it was - I haven't looked at your warn points yet).
Frankly, this is a voluntary role we serve, and we get a hell of a lot of grief for it.
The majority of us have full time occupations and try to fit in the work we do here around that work. We also find that a lot of people breach forum rules despite them being clear and easy to locate and members having agreed to follow them when signing up for this free service we offer.
Given a combination of these two factors, we simply do not have time to deal with each thread or start inserting html code into warn notes just because someone forgot what the rules were and needed reminding how they can be broken.
On many occasions we do issue warn points for minor things - I'm sure this is the case for you Chimpy, as I'm surprised to even here you have even been warned. Generally I know you to be (on the forums, at least - I don't know you in real life so I can't comment there) quite an intelligent, mature poster. This is unfortunate but often it's the best way of preventing people from embarking on a downward spiral of rule breaking which results in them being suspended. We have learnt to our cost that where former 'personalities' on the forum were given some leeway, their willingness to blatently disregard the rules and make the whole forum a lot less pleasant for everyone else led to them being banned. On this basis I think a minor warn to let members know they're sailing a little close to the wind is much better than giving people enough rope to hang themselves with.

Glen,
This is my bad - I've just located the information you'd sent me about the forum request amidst a pile of other answered requests. Apologies for the wait - the section is set up now.
I'm writing a news piece as we speak. If you have any extra info you want me to add for that, please let me know.

Stealth / Caz: Is this sorted? Was it a temporary error with DNS for BT?
-
Yes, and it's not against the rules so can you and other people please stop reporting such posts.
I'm repeating it for Misfit as he doesn't have to.
Now, back to the pictures...
-
Glad it's sorted...Even if it is in an odd fashion. :|
If you have any more problems, let me know.

This thread has been created for all photos taken at SoftErna 09 to be shared.
-
General is working fine - settings are all okay.
Gear and picture sections do not count. Gear has been this way for a while. Pictures was done recently for the same reason (which Anteater suggested).
I'm afraid this time I didn't Marlowe anything. Keep looking though, Dale. I'm sure you'll find something I did.

As it seemed a popular idea, there is now a section dedicate to Valuations here.
As it falls under the commercial branch of the site, only those with 100 posts or higher can access it.
Please note - valuations threads should only be for that. Please post sales threads in the relevant areas.

Nice one Ed. Couldn't put it better myself.

i think you misunderstood me, i didnt say they were better than cyma i meant the STEEL versions have superior internals to the standard models (with pladtic bushings). danHS got the steel spec spot on IIRC
You obviously forgot what happened to my steel AK74S at its first ever game.
-
I never found the room - I agree the support weapons ruled the day though - the ammo limits worked exceptionally well.
Suffice to say I'll be finished building the RPK for the next game!

I'm afraid I'm with popular opinion here.
I already think the forum has a lot of unecessary sections (see 'The Game') which confuse matters considerably. If it weren't for the fact previous Admins had implemented them, I'd be inclined to merge a lot of sections.
