  1. Solo,

I still hate you. Maybe if you gave me that M4 of yours I wouldn't be so jelous all the time.

    :P

I've still not been able to find anywhere that's sells the KAC RIS, although I now have a source in the UK for the Surefire RIS, and I actually think the Surefire RIS looks better than the KAC one. Some how it just looks more evil.

Just need to find the cash for the M4 and the RIS now though. :(

  2. Eddie - the holo-sight on the kingarms mount - says Sig/Saur on it, where'd you get it, and how much was it? - looks good :)

Cost me £42 from eBay. Click Me

Sellers name is hkptu. Has loads of taclights and reflex sights for sale all the time. the sig reflex has 7 brightness settings and 4 reticule types.

I used it for the first time at urban assault on Sunday and it's a top bit of kit.

  3. Eddie182, love that rail / rear sight on the CQB. Who makes it and how much is it?

    Thanks mate.

The carring handle type rear sight & elevated rail is made by king arms. I got it from an eBay airsoft seller for £35, the guy is based in HK and has loads of kit for sale all the time. I would give you a link to another one but he doesn't have any up for sale at the moment. The sellers name is airsoftshooting if you want to have a look.

Although I have seen the same thing on both WGC and redowolf, although it is a tad more expensive, still not that pricey though.

  4. It's not just a cadet thing, well maybe it is now. I was originally taught it during basic training. wouldn't be suprised if it's not used all that much, as I've never come across it since.

The only problem is, the fieldcraft teaching differs a bit between the army and airforce, for obvious reasons, so things aren't always the same.

But you are correct, ripple fire's use in airsoft would be quite limited.

  5. eg,

man 1 fires, man 2 fires, man 3 fire........once the last man in the section has fired a round it goes back to man 1 and starts all ovcerf again.

We use it when low on ammo. Maybe it's not used anymore, must admit to not being 100% up to date anymore.

  6. Oh and I'm also doing a field formation guide in slow time, just need to get some of the cadets I teach to pose for demo photos.

I'll let you know when I next do one. It'd be nice to have someone a bit more clued up than myself to work with and go over stuff.

Did think about a fire and manuver guide, but couldn't really think how to show clearly how it al works without practical demos etc. Possibly powerpoint or a short vid etc may so the job. We'll see.

  7. Seen.

Cheers dude, nice to know people have actually read it.

The only thing I'll say is, I haven't actually missed Shine from the list. I don't know about the army, we have chaged it to exactly I listed it.

Was a bit confused myself when it forst changed as I always learnt 7s's and M myself, but some decided to put a coulple of the S's unser texture.

I may change it in the guide, as I think the old way is easier to remember.
