  1. OK after reading through all 111 pages of this thread i'm a bit confused. I have just bought an AGM M4 and man this is solid as a rock, but i'm confused on which RA Tech upgrades to fit "there site is very confusing also", which mags to use and which gas to use. Now the info I will need is for a 350 fps UK site. So! Can someone who knows for sure just list for me please the following.

    1. Best mags to buy for the AGM.

    2. Which gas to run them on, which keep's me under 350 fps.

    3. Which RA Tech upgrades to buy and there part numbers would be helpful.

    4. What metal receivers can I buy to replace the stock one so I can have one with it's marks on it.

    5. What metal RIS would fit as I have the none RIS version, but I see the holes are in place for a floating RIS.

I'm a complete noob when it comes to GBB's and I don't want to be wasting money I don't have. This would also I suppose sort out most questions for new UK AGM M4 owners.

Many thanks in advance for any answers.

    1. Mags: http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/magazines/rifle-smg-magazine/for-gbbr/prowin-50rd-magazine-for-wa-m4-gbb-series.html (?)

    2. I use Ultrair Green-gas

    3. N.P.A.S (I got one, never bothered to install it.. Yet), get a tightbore and a new hopupchamber, replace when the stock stuff breaks down.

    4. Dunno; personally I am considering just having it engraved instead, cheaper..

5.I bought a Daniel Defence Omega RIS for mine, it is rock solid. (From Ebairsoft, but they don't stock it anymore).

(6.) Also, I am thinking of adding this : http://www.holsterops.com/rogers-super-stoc (Eliminate stock wobble).

    :D

  2. A tiny review of the WE Clone Xin Da Yang Hi- Capa:

    First impressions:

Bought mine off Rsov.com for 56.49$ + shipping, it came in a plastic pistolcase with insulated foam inside. It looked good, no scratches or loose parts, it has WE trademarks, and what looks like a photocopied WE manual, just with TDX (?) logo on it. I filled up the gun, and tried to shoot a couple of rounds, but the trigger wouldnt engage the hammer. I contacted Rsov, and they sent me a couple of pictures of how to fix it. There is a problem with a weak spring in the grip, that does not hold the hammer back. After a bit of fiddeling, I decided to just install a new grip on it. (from EB) and use a bigger magazine (Original WE 5.1 size, instead of the smaller one that came with the gun).I used some spacers inside the grip under the spring, and now it works.

    Shooting:

Crisp, very loud and strong blowback, the front sight is a bit off, and adjusting the rear sight does not really work that well. Might install a C-more on it later, for that racegun look.

    I shot 10 rounds, without adjusting hopup from 5 meters at a 6x6cm target cross;

Not too shabby, I aligned the sight with the horizontal line, and it shoots just a little below the line, and I am guessing there are some shooters error there aswell (Did the testfire from 1 hand, standing).

Now for some pictures of the gun itself:

    IMAG0743-1.jpg

Original grip is small for my hands (medium gloves), aftermarket WE/Marui parts works fine.

    IMAG0746.jpg

Some slight casting errors, but overall pretty good finish. Better than my Bell 1911's.

    IMAG0745.jpg

Front sight is just a fragment off center, the "optics" has way to much glue on them to actually work. The cut slide makes for very fast shots.

    Verdict:

+ A good "testgun" for racegun building,

+ You won't cry when you drill holes in this gun.

+ Pretty good grouping out of the box.

    + WE/Marui compatible

+ Comes in a nice pistolcase

    + Good value for money

    - Don't buy this gun if you want something that works out of the box.

    - Small grip.

    - Original sights are poor.

  3. Bought a Xin Da Yang (WE Clone) from Rsov to check it out. Fitted it with a AABB custom grip. (It was broken out of the box, the hammer wouldn't engage, but fixed it when I swapped grips). Now I need some new mags.. (5.1 grip on a 3.9 gun..)

Other than that, it seems pretty well made!

  4. I am heading to HK in 2 months time, and I am going to pick up some parts for my AGM, I am guessing a couple of prowin magazines, reddot/acog/something, and a new front.

Can anyone reccomend a front that is wobblefree and guaranteed to fit on the agm without modification?

  5. I have tried out a couple of merrell boots, but I found them very stiff in the sole and the walls next to my heel. I ended up with the garmont pair I posted a couple of posts back. I would seriously reccomend testing them out instead :D

I also have a pair of Wellco Spartans, I do not reccomend them. Heavy, warm, stiff, bulky. :(

The Norwegian military issue boot that I have is probably the best "bang for buck" here in Norway, but they need ALOT of wearing in.

  6. I tried to install some Magpul XTM , but it seems the rails on the AGM isnt standard size. I could only fit 2 of 4 panels on each side. Anyone else had problems like this? It just gives me another reason to get a new front end.. Perhaps a new DD MK18 front before christmas.. ?

I also bought this: http://www.ebairsoft.com/element-ex060-piv...eed-p-2551.html - and my advice, don't buy it. They don't fit, and if you do manage to squeeze em trough, there is no way that could be called SPEED PINS. Poor workmanship on em aswell.

  7. I had this jacket with me across some nasty terrain high in the Norwegian mountains, and I am not satisfied. As a watertight and breathing jacket goes, it sucks. It is clammy, and I got wet after 20 mins of drizzle. Worst part was, it wouldn't dry again. I had it hanging off my backpack for several hours in the sun, and it was still wet. Even when I came home, 12 hours later, it was still wet. Not good!

But it will do just fine for skirmishing and just day to day wear ofc.

  8. I have a EB softshell (first version) in green without hood, I also just bought a version 4. And they are very diffrent I can tell you!

The first version breathes better imo, the fabric is more soft aswell. It also has better zippers imo, and D-rings inside the pockets.

The fourth version feels more waterproof, the fabric is more dense. I got a lot more clammy on the inside of this.

I guess it depends on what you are going to use it for, if you need a summer jacket, get the early version. If you need something to wear in damp conditions, get the latest versions.

Both jackets I have is XL. I am 186cm tall and weigh a good 94kg. Both jackets are a bit short on the sleeves, but fully wearable. The latest version is a bit more roomy around the gut.

  9. The pins was indeed pretty hard, but using a hammer + screwdriver drove it almost out. You don't have to take the pin out entirely either, when the pin is sticking out, just twist the upper downwards, and it will come off. (Something like that). It is the same on my AGM.

Plastic body feels sturdy, and thick! I guess it is great if your country has some special rules on this, but othervise I would reccoment metal. For that special feeling you know.. ;)

  10. I finally got to fondle my new JG today. Took some pictures aswell:

(link to page if pictures doesn't work: http://sites.google.com/site/jinggongm4/)

The JG feels a lot tighter, the nobs, pins and bolt are all tigher than on the AGM.

Magazine was hell to take apart. The AGM one is easier to pin out, the plastic on the JG mag made it tricky to get all the pins out.

My mag came with some gas in it actually. All the way from china. So I guess it is tight :)

The blowback on the JG feels almost harder than the AGM. A lot more sound. Could be the buffer, it has a hole in it, right where the bolt hits it?

I didn't get around to testing the FPS, but I am guessing they are pretty much the same.

  11. Something's not right. At US$110 they actually pay you to buy it.

Ive bought a lot of stuff from Rsov, so I got a tiny discount, but I think most people do?

Also, I have a sneaking suspicion that they have a fixed version coming up, might have something to do with the bodged trademarks?

Wonder how the quality is compared to a original WA?
