I'm new to this SCAR business, just got one yesterday and installed all the RaTech goodies. Is there a stronger return spring out there somewhere one can get to swap out the stock one? I'm finding the steel bolt is sluggish. Anyone have similar results? Am I missing something? .

I like the video as well but you need to get some more comparison shots of the 3 units you have. Being able to see through them will make the video more interesting. Other than that though, great job. I want ANVIS 9's.

This started out as the TMC Airframe but slowly I've been making some changes. I like this helmet a lot and it's different from all the FAST helmets out there now. Although I do have a FAST ballistic replica which I love too.

They only have V Lite's at the moment. I haven't seen the manta's
They keep pulling it off the site. It's there sometimes. I got one from them but noticed after I had ordered that they were taken off the site. I've seen them on there since though. Just keep checking back. Maybe it's a supply thing.

Mine arrived today and I noticed it doesn't have the V-lite written in it. My buddy has one too but he got his a couple days ago, and it has the v-lite on it. Hm. Lucky me I guess.

One big difference I see... looks like you screwed your NVG shroud through the helmet cover? I thought about it and didn't. (although now that I'm looking closer it seems like your cover is completely different, actually.)

Oh hey, sorry I missed your question.
I've used it for a 17 hour milsim, game started at 10pm in the dark. Also used it in a few other night games for about 4-5 hours. I got my unit back in March.

I've used mine in a few games, I have a D-300 Gen2HP and the DBAL works awesome with it. The IR illuminator sucks so I have a separate one but the IR laser is slick. Worth it in my opinion, no problems yet.

Thanks for the help. I ended up changing out the slide(?) of the bolt back to the WE one and the cycling seems fine now. I do have the RATech trigger set so if I do notice some problems with it's function I'll swap out the hammer. It seems fine right now though. I might as well get one ordered anyway.
