Both of the 2 magazines I have are now leaking too much for practical use from the top valves. Going to do some research if the KJW new type valves fit.
-
Thats why I would only go with RS, as they make very convincing replicas.
Thinking about getting a deact and turning it into an airsoft gun. Legality very highly questionable, maybe with cooperation with local police I could find the amount of work needed to make it legal, perhaps removing the barrel and making one etc.
Modifying the G&G RK95 wont work either, as it feels very lackluster compared to the real deal and would still need a *suitcase* ton of work.
Maybe I will just go with documenting my loved one thoroughly with *suitcase* ton of high resolution pictures and someday I could go on from that.
-
G&G makes a RK95, 62 is the older version with different pretty much everything. Basically the same gun, but very many little subtle differences that make them feel worlds apart if youve handled the other one for 9 months on a daily basis.
-
I wish Real Sword made a RK62. I have grown fond of my RK62 in service and really would want one, fielded my finally finished M4 yesterday and it just doesnt feel right, nor does any AK.

Still rocking the o-rings on the nylon seal, with them zero leaks, other mag has had a bulb in it it for 2 months now and still all gas left.
-
I guess its not but my mags are still perfect with zero leaks, though I do still use the o-rings on the bulb piercing cap connection.
Played indoors with these mags. With my somewhat upgraded MEU they shot every BB until the last one which was a sphhh, no sluggish shots, just the last one which used the last Co2 left in the magazine.
-
Finally managed to play a game. Temperature was about +0 to +5 celsius. In total the gun KJW MEU shot 2 full magazines with no hicups until the very last few BBs. The gun did swim in snow between shots etc.
-
Well havent used them in a game since the last post. Will go play next saturday and I'll report back if there is any change to their state. I still have the one mag with co2 bulb in it that I forgot in my rig, shot a few times and no hissing as of yet.
Tried to remove the valve with a flat head, material is too soft and the valve is too tightly on.
-
I dont know what I did with my magazine when installing the bulb but I wasted a complete capsule. After that I have just kept the o-rings in there and since then there has been 0 leaks from bulb end.
-
These mags work great. I had forgotten one magazine with a full capsule in it a little after I made this topic. Now I remembered it and found it to be in full state and shot the magazine empty. It had been with me on the few winter games I have played this winter as filling for a mag puch.

Forgot to thank the photographer. Thanks to the JoKeR for the pic and the rest of them too.

Ah my AK is aging like a fine wine. Looking better by the day.
The pistol grip isnt going to hold for long though. Any suggestions where to find some nice Real Steel bakelite grips that the seller would ship out of US or wherever it is?
Dont mind the gear, just a game to spice up the local games a little.

I will have to try one of those some day. At the moment the mags are working fine but the o-ring is loose and changing bulbs is a little bothersome.
-
M'thinks that ptfe tape in this case could be too soft. I managed to find a good sized o-ring, which turned out to work well.
The o-ring size that worked for me: 8mm OD, 6mm ID and 1mm in thickness. Needs just a tad bit of force to get the bulb pierced well.
I think these will actually turn out good, just add that o-ring and the mags should be perfect after that.
-
So I received 2 of the said items today.
External quality of the magazine is rather good.
The opening for the bulb on the magazine is quite big, I am afraid it could in theory get knocked off of its place with enough force.
BB spring is stronger than that of in my old style co2 magazine.
The co2 bulb piercing end seal is NAILON!! I wasted a whole co2 bulb because it didnt seal it pretty much at all.
I am currently working to fix this. I tried to put a o-ring of smaller size between co2 bulb and nailon seal, which worked otherwise perfectly(no hiss when capsule was thightened in the magazine), but didnt allow the pin to pierce the bulb properly which resulted in poor performance. I am going try tomorrow a thinner o-ring solution, which should work.
Other thing to mention is that the magazines co2 bulb alignment differs a little from that of in my KJW MEU. The bulb is a bit more towrds the forward of the muzzle end than the opening for it in the gun. This doesnt show up at all when inserting magazine, but requires pulling motion to get the magazine out of the gun. Probably fixable by simply sanding the magwell a little.
Will get pics and more proper info tomorrow.
Opinion of these so far:
A little dissappointed that the seal is nailon, but IF I can get these to work fine, I would be perfectly happy with these.

I understand Fireknifes point. I am also going to assume trolling, until any proof is given. I had the exact same thought when I first saw the message.
I mean no offence to you Xtcy, but your first post fills so many points on the list of identifying a troll post.
1. new user (check E)
2. same claim that others offer that is against a manufacturer that some people just hate for no real reason.
3. absolutely no proof.
4. unbeliavable circumstances of happening. (134a and only one mag shot)
5. considering TMs history and what they design their guns for(local market, absolute reliability with the propellant they use locally).
Just to clarify: I am no TM fanboy. Only TM guns I've had were a stock M4 and P226, which both were good for their own purposes, but nothing stellar in general.
E: Just checked Xtcys profile for date of joining. Old lurker, so this counts out the new user.

This sort of supports that theory
E: Co2 mags seem to be available in Redwolfairsoft
-
NonEx make sure you get those flush baseplate mags and try them with this gun.
-
I guess they mustve made the pieces that werent steel in Royal II of steel this time.

Excellent review.

"Giant hope adjustment" Laughed my *albatross* off
I just yesterday bought this gun aswell, will try my luck with co2 mags again but I accidentally bought 2 gas mags instead of co2 ones so report on those later to come.
But externals wise I can already say that I agree with vorpalbunnie, this thing is awesome! One thing that I found funny is how it sounded rather similar to a realsteel FN HP-DA due to it kind of having the slide inside of the frame, the quality of the metal also helps in this. Cant say the same about my KWC Tanfoglio limited because of its *suitcase* metal.
