I was going to wait until it is finished, but after seeing Pkekyo's RRV again, thought I'd throw a WIP picture up. Got a few pouches still backordered, and not at all sure I'll keep those ones on where they are.
EI RRV + Backplate RG
EI RLCS Signal Pouch RG
2 x Paraclete Frag Pouches SG
Paraclete Hydro Pouch SG
Paraclete Small Radio Pouch SG
Paraclete 4x.45 Pistol Mag Pouch SG
TAG GP Pouch RG
Colour variation is quite highlighted under artificial light, but in natural light the Paraclete and eagle are very similar, and the TAG has a very slight extra tinge of brown.

It's not a CIRAS.
It is two separate things. Aussie issue body armour underneath, and a Sord rig of some kind over the top. Probably SCS chest rig front and backs.

Merrell are mass-produced in China these days (according to the guy in the hiking shop trying to sell me a pair of Meindl...)
He also reckoned they had lost interest in the proper boot type stuff, going after the trail-running/fashion stuff.

Just could not get KA midcaps working in my CA AUG.
I would stay away and get Marui locaps - you just know they will work when you pull the trigger.

It is quite light, I usually play in a place where that matches the rocks quite well, but I'm moving to woods. It's krylon sand dune and med brown atm.
Having seen No Trace's work, I'm gonna add some normal brown as well!
I'll probably try a homage to that thing with a lil OD in the mix!

My currently dessie bastardised HK51 (with internals out ready for another bit of paint). Apologies for the overexposed phone cam pic.
I have some OD krylon incoming - looking to use it in moderation to darken things down a little and make it sensible to use in the woods. Any suggestions on how to keep it tasteful?
EDIT: Marginally less over-exposed pic

Well if you want to get all technical, yes they are. However, just because they are designed to be used in a desert area doesn't mean it won't work anywhere else.
I think he is referring to the rain and mud aspects, rather than camo or looking cool
And yes, my desert boots are heavy duty suede and cordura. They are in no way water-proof. That said, you can always polish black boots brown, and especially these days, shouldn't be too hard to find tan coloured boots with a gore-tex lining.

MC51 with extended barrel would take straight minis
Nope. With that RIS, mini won't fit. Could probably custom make something, but at the moment I use a full stock or a battery bag. Looking into PEQ boxes.

Yep, an Aimpoint.
Are the G&P ones any good?
Also any reccomendations for a PEQ battery box?

Can I just ask what outer barrel people are using on their G3's that brings the flash hider flush to the front sight?
I can't find a reference to it anywhere.
Thanks in advance!
It's just the MC-51 flashhider on the end instead of the whole G3 outer barrel.
I'm don't think you can just take the flashhider off the end of the G3 outer barrel and use it like that, but the MC-51 comes with it flush like that.
Incidentally, I'm trying to get hold of longer outer barrel for my MC-51, cannot find a G3 outer barrel anywhere, had to resort to the HK51 barrel, which I'm not so keen on.

The most impressive thing would be the targets I got to shoot when I got the opportunity to fire GPMG with some TA Yeomanry, but I couldn't get a pic of them...
