GHK AK Magazine Outlet Valve Springs

Hey all. I've noticed that my outlet valves (the valves at the top of the magazine with the striker that releases gas into the bolt when hit by the trigger mech) have increasingly started to stick, resulting at first in a higher gas consumption and now in the rifle either leaking all air on the first shot or only managing a few shots without running out of gas.

A trawl of the web revealed that apparently the culprit is the springs inside the valves, which are too weak and over time struggle to push the valve out strong enough.

As it stands I'm now trying to source replacement springs which will fit and yet be strong enough to push out the valve with more resistance. I've tried regular springs from the cheap 'multi spring' sets you can commonly get at most DIY / specialist DIY retailers but I've found none to be compatible - most seem to either not fit unless cut down, in which case they are no stronger than those I am trying to replace.

Has anyone had any luck sourcing suitable replacement springs? If so can you advise me where to get them? It really is a shame to have the rifle out of action as it is such a fun piece of kit. :)

Cheers in advance!
