YounG ChristoV
OK. Im moving the battery on this CA MP5A2 cos im fed up with the solid stock. im replacing with a slider but so far, i cant get into the gun to move any cables. i can get the stock and foregrip off but im then stuck with a sealed reciever and grip with nothing to undo or loosen. Do i realy have to crack the gun open to just move a cable cos i cant see anything more to take off... Edit: this isnt the same gun i am selling.
cazboab
Y'know ive seen 2 or 3 threads on this over the weekend. yes you have to take it apart to route it to the front, or you could just use a battery sling.
Hissing_Sid
Geez, doesn't bode well for your chances at doing the rest of the gun does it? Stock off. Foregrip off. Remove screw from right side fire selector. Remove right side selector. Remove left side selector and connector bar. Note that left side connector needs to hook into selector cam inside receiver. Remove 2 screws on pistol grip heel plate. Remove heel plate and collect motor shim from inside it. Unhook wires from motor. Remove motor. - Ensure you recall which way around motor was. Sticker to left or sticker to right etc. Remove 2 screws from inside pistol grip. Remove receiver pins. Pull down on pistol grip. pistol grip should come free. Collect selector cam as you remove pistol grip. Guide wires through holes in grip. Remove rear sight. Remove O-ring from hop-up adjustment lever. Remove hop-up lever. Remove hex-screw in rear of receiver. Remove hex screw at rear of mag-well. Receiver can now be split in half. I've probably forgotten something. Sue me.
