KyberAuZ
Hello, has anyone bought the m700 silencer adapter from evike.com? It's at: http://www.evike.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc? They don't tell you the maker, or whether it's a CW or CCW thread or both, or what mm for that matter. Sooo helpful. Does anyone have one of these or have experience with installing them? I'm thinking of picking up two for my Tanaka and KJW M700s but want to make sure they go on easily and will take the 14mm CW silencers I have for them. +1 to whomever can help me out definitively here. Thanks!
Rapier
well, it apears to be a ccw thread, but I can't tell you what thread size. Not sure if I would trust them even if they did say what type. Check out the description of the KJ M700 THey say "This is a one of a kind sniper rifle only available at Evike.com!" and "The gun shoots up to 550 FPS pre-upgraded" Both are lies, while it does shoot that hard it's built to do that from the factory, it's not an upgrade. And I know for a fact they are not the only ones selling it because I just got 2 in last week!
badkarma1354
Rapier: They never say it was an upgrade. Pre-upgraded means before upgrades, as in from the factory.
visionviper
As for installation - Take off the front sight, and then you can take out the orange tip/piece that hold the end of the barrel. Then replace that piece with the supressor adapter, and put the front sight back on. Very easy to do.
KyberAuZ
Thanks guys. Hey Viper, do you have one of these adapters by chance? I was able to figure out how to install it once I get it by looking at the blow-up diagram of the KJW. Evike isn't answering my emails and I really want to pick these up soon. visionviper
I don't have one yet, but I do know how to put them on.
Rapier
Actualy, "pre-upgraded" meens upgraded before, "pre-upgrades" would be before getting upgraded. Big difference. I did send them an e-mail asking which they ment and how they can claim it's the only place to get that gun (I have 2 in my shop right now)
badkarma1354
I see what your saying. I wasn't trying to pick a fight and I sure think that it is a load of ###### that "only" they have it.
