NB: I have since sold my Marushin M1, it's a lovely collectors piece but not much cop as a practical skirmishing tool.

My real and airsoft M1s. The first pictures feature my Marushin 8mm M1 Garand which while being a very nice piece of kit I found was not a practical skirmishing rifle. I now have an M14 conversion bought as a gift for me from Shoot & Scoot. I've carried out further work on it fitting a modified Pro Arms M14 wood stock, an Element HOP unit and a Vanaras 590mm long, 6.03mm inner barrel. The gearbox is all original parts cleaned and re-lubricated and as such the rifle gives me between 330 and 340 fps at the time of writing.

My deactivated 1942 dated M1 Garand is shown in some shot for comparison.
