from my post here: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...0entry1299416
The code from the template isn''t being reformatted properly. Most likely the langauge library file has been lopped off (bad FTP upload?) so when the code is processed it''s meant to see pic up on "<{P_QUOTE}>" and replace it with the correctly labelled image (langauge settings). Also aphostophes are doubling up: it''s not nicehttp://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...view=getnewpost

Right... Just so its clear...
The spambots, in conjuction with Doc, who are based under LJs bed, are fighting back against -1''''''''''''''''s by using their text changing 1337 hax, whilst overloading HBC with prescription drugs.
Heheh
hmm testing something: they''''s all''''s went''''s to''''s the''''s market''''s
edit; lol it''''s doubling up single quotes - something that''''s done to prevent SQL statements from breaking... someones not checked their code changes
Aww no SQL-injection haxing for me, could have made myself a mod (lol)
-
lol it''s just happened a few minutes ago for me - someone tinkering with the code or something went *clunk grrrrrrrrrrsssssssssssss*

all grips cut for a .45 will fit on all airsoft and real steel .45's. hell even paintball grips cut for .45s will work.
Not a WE though - I tried my RS grips from my 1911 "hitman" on my WE and found the top screw hole to be slightly off. Enough that'd it'd require modding. No idea if it's the same story for the TM though.

I took a load of pics of my main guns the other and shoved them in various picture threads today... so I'll stick 'em all in here as well
Hitman 1911 (WA), Maruzen PPK/S and Marushing 6mm Derringer:
My skirmish pistols - yes I pack all 3
Tanaka M700 Takedown version, modified with silencer adaptor:
STAR M249 Paratrooper, modified with scope rail and I chopped off the front sight as it was taking up too much room in the ACOG's FOV (don't worry I bought a spare front sight before I did it )
The duct tape on the box mag is on there because I kept knocking the panel off in the field.
TM MP5 PDW with modified scope rail - so the little Samurai O.P scope could be mounted as far back as possible:
it's my backup for when sniping, the flash hider has been taped up to block the holes and improve the acoustic's so it's extra loud
TM AUG modified with KA Phantom kit (only used one section), TM SPAS 12 with Metal Folding stock:
-
TM SPAS 12 (w/metal stock), featuring my AUG Phantom
-
Not new but...
"Hitman" and friends - my skirmish pistol case Normally there's an M3 tac light in there but it's packed up atm :/
1911 mags are under the foam. I been through all 4 mags in a game once and had to use the PPK (to good effect). The Derringer is still waiting for it's first proper kill but it has kinda killed Pablo Escobar (not the real Pablo would be a bit hard) - I was meant to be guarding him and I got bored because the enemy took forever to do anything and the guy wouldn't stfu I shot him a couple of times but it doesn't really count
-
can you not do that on the Tm one? never touched any thing but WA 1911's at that, and even less stock ones lol
Nope I only know of WAs guns that can do it (and not all of them can)
You can kinda do it on the Mazuren PPK/S but that's got a decocker anyway.
The KSC USP can semi do it but it's not quite the same and it's also got a decocker - you can't cock the hammer from fully "in" you have to rack the slide then decock it otherwise the hammer drops on nothing :/
edit: me no no spel gud

[...]
and for some reason i decided to get a TM while i was at it lol, damn internets
:o
I been too spoilt by WAs with they funky hammer system, I just love being able to let the hammer down safety.

At night the forums becomes unresponsive and reject most access attemps.
Literally have to fight to get into a thread and/or post
This keeps happening too, in a pattern, the forum slows up/dies at nights for a few days/weeks then someone smacks it with a hammer and it's not so bad for a while.
-
cool pic!! where can I half-inch that for my desktop?
-
It's been a little touchy the last week but it's gotten awful awful awful since last night
I keep getting
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.arniesairsoft.co.uk.or theres another message saying it took too long to respond (can't get it to come up now).
Sometimes it's quite quick to respond then it'll become all sluggish again.

My Airsoft Workshop and semi-gun room I still need to put some of the guns up, I'm planning on putting somekind of cabinet where the SPAS is hanging:

[Catman Seal of Approval]
Seriously: I like it, it's simple and straight to the point. Although I do feel that the righthand nav menu could use some borders/seperators to break it up a bit. Maybe a light grey background colour would break up the whiteness a bit?
-
Here it is, I put a box to belt feed it... And if you're going to ask, the box is designed to allow the gun to be pumped...
Cool...errr but that's an M1100 which is semi-auto so potential box-issues solved Belt-fed shotty... you'd want it semi-auto

with glass beading does the metal still end up going dull after a time? Or will it remain "fresh bling-bling" all year round?
I sanded one of my outer barrels down once and it needed to be brasso'd (a metal polish) every month or two.
cheers

Just had a quick peek over this it's looking pretty smart indeed!! Just a few thoughts:
To echo what people are saying here: definately need a UK/US/whatever-country split ability.
The ability to not show sold/past items (user defined preference in the control panel?).
Search/filtering on auction/instant sale items
Definatetly tie into the Rep system for buyers/sellers.
Shipping cost field, shipping cost indicator (price does/not include shipping, shipping is extra, etc etc).
Personally I'd like to see AEG, GBB, Spring/Sniper Rifles have sub-categories for mags, parts etc so they'd be more easily located when the system starts to get really busy.
Keep up the great work, it's looking really good
-
My latest 1911 aquisition. A WA Wilson Combat Supergrade Custom 1996 model. Comparison pics of this and the 2006 model to come in a few days.
[pic snipped]
Damn I want some of those mags!!!! *pout*
regarding the outer barrel - I found, on my series 80 that it's tends to unscrewed itself a little now and again
-
nice one phoenix, btw love the BB in the middle
Damn I'm finding it %£$#ing hard to resist buying dual TLE / RL II's in black
GAH my GF has imposed a "whatever you spend, I can spend" rule, meaning instead of costing $386 for two they'll technically cost me $772
-
cheers guys
lol Badgers are mean
*thinks about handing it over*

Here's some pics for hardboiledcop
Hopefully, you didn't make it with the aep one.it's a KWA Glock 18c
It's got (prices & links from WGC):
- Metal Slide (link) - $65
- 6.04mm Inner Barrel (link) - $25
- Threaded Barrel -14mm/CCW (link) - $42
- Enhanced recoild spring from Hurricane High flow valve set - I dumped the hammer spring (link) - $49
- Shooters Design reinforced Part 10 (link) - $4.50
- Multi-mount - in this set up the rails are unusable, I took them off but it looked foul (link) - $18
- 1x 49round Mag (link) - $40
- 2 x 23round Mag (link) - $59
- Scope Mount unknown, I think it's a Hurricane one, I got it from Z1 a while back but it looks like the design has changed. However anyone looking for a similiar setup; this one should do: link. I think I paid around £25 for my one, so say $45
- Samurai O.P. Scope (link) - $74
- King Arms Socom -14mm/CCW (link) - $30
I paid £70 for the 18c from Wolf here in the UK, that's roughly $128 at todays rates
so in total (not counted this up before).... roughly $579.50 (before shipping etc)
eeeek
