Always wanted a Detonics, bought a 3" 629 instead.
My mates PD was reliable and ran fine on hardball and lead reloads. -
The new Webley is a good start just hope the Tanaka Smith R8 Clone that was rumoured a few years ago is released one day.

The Star PD was lovely little gun, a mate of mine used to have one and I used it regularly. It also had a good reputation at the time far better than the Detonics.
I had forgotten I admit that it wasn't a straight 1911 design even less so than the detonics.

Doesn't stop the likes of Prime, Shooters Design or Zeke making kits like they do for Auto's.

Pretty sure the Detonics was the second, the Star PD came first iirc.

Nothing specific just wondered how you where getting on with them and if you where being allowed to use em many places. Haven't asked if there ok where I skirmish. I daren't as I know how much I could get into these and as you say they ain't cheap.

Are the front and rear sight cast as part of the slide or are they removable?

Got to have an Officer, loved my WA/Prime Officer. Think it was one of my all time top 5 favourite pistols.

Looks quite simple, you could just draw up some plans, then its up to whoever to cut n sand to there hearts content.

Ooo, proper hammer and thumb safety on Commander, did they come with the new kit? Just what I need for mine.

Army Desert Warrior. It now comes in a dark FDE colour. Grips are third party.
Have one of these myself, like it so much i'm thinking of selling my HurricanE Desert Warrior Kit which I have had in my pending projects box for a few years know.

Still not 7.62x 51 though. Spiriting really with all the hype of the 417.

Would love a snow gun and load out but would probably never use it as I travel by bike, so if it snows I stay in bed!
Chas - nice work on both guns, what is the lighter green used on the Ak, is it out of a rattle can? I have OD but need a lighter green for an MC is paint job.
