Very nice Reptile House. What length is the URX3?
Thanks mate. It's a 13.5" URX 3.1.
reptile,
is that a straight trigger?
Edit: lol... Meant what brand...
-Hawaiian
The trigger is made by FCC.

A few pics of my KAC build, until I get some good light:

You have to buy them separately. Most of the retailers which sell the URX III and 3.1 carry them.
-
How was this not commented on?! Gorgeous!
Parts list please
lol - I hit the 'like' button
Where did you get the covers for your rail? Really want a set for a build of mine.
Aside form cosmetics and grip, getting the covers means you get extra screws for the bottom rail. Without extra screws there can be a little wobble in the bottom rail.

While not official, there are rumors of an updated increment. Whether it be Block 2.5 or Block 3, EXPS3-2s(SU-231A/PEQ) are seeing use as well as the Insight WMX200 hooked up to a dual switch with the LA-5/PEQ-15.

Indeed - I've seen that speculated
I've also noticed that in most recent AFSOC pics they are using T1s...so some kind of upgrade package possibly afoot with the Airforce guys.
-
My friend's block II with chinese EXPS.
Spot on, that one. Very nice
I know the EXPS isn't in the increment, but plenty of evidence of use in the wild.

* The confusion here started with the origins of that pic ... whether it is RS or airsoft. I was under the impression it's RS and used for reference regarding Mk18's as used by RS operators in the field.
It is indeed RS. We started out talking about preferences seen in Block IIs pics in the wild. The source of the pic was also named and the thread linked a page or so back.

Yeah - it came up on arf.com, too. The guy who posted that pic is the one holding the M4. I forget if it was ever answered, but I have the URL if you want to look through the thread, MRF?

Lol - that is indeed one of the pics. I saw it on arf.comPretty much necessary if you want to mount the dual switch on the top rail.
Cheers,

Great use of T1 and speaking of which...

Very nice Block II. I like the reversal of the KAC taupe front sight. Seen that on quite a few SOF pics in the wild

Bladerunner168 - awesome builds
Could you publish the parts lists, please?
-
Very nice - and super light with the rail and optic combo, no doubt
-
I love the ADM mech. Nice work on the whole package

Either will do - thank you!

BCE 1.0
I really like it, in my opinion that is the best looking flashhider on SBRs, for a fair price, too. (Cursader tech one is 25 USD)
Any idea where to source this? I was looking the other night and couldn't find any in stock.
-
What are you going to install it to? I really wonder how it would fit. I am begging you to post pictures about it!
Prime PTW upper, until I can get an RS one.
I've got a Matech rear BUIS and an old skool YHM front on the way. Eventually I'll get hold of a KAC taupe front - but I've seen the YHM flip-up sight in early Block II upper pics.
-
In my experience, SOCOM Gear had the better of the finishes. The two Madbull rails were identical and were purchased separately. Weird given they seem to be the same company, but there you go.
-
It's RS, although I've been told that there's a typo in the NSN number! Friday night special, obviously
I've had two Madbull ones and a SOCOM Gear one, so I thought why not invest in my favourite RIS? Biggest difference aside from the overall quality is the colour. The RS really is brown - not copper.
I particularly liked this - so helpful

The start of an SOF inspired upper...

To avoid the Celcius parts, just don't use them
-
I believe so.
-
The re-branded Celcius version is being sold at the British Airsoft Show this weekend, buy the UK distributor - so I guess their retailer will get theirs soon.

Didn't really want to start a new thread, but what's the light blue marker a lot of people use for the "issue number" mark? Not even sure what to google as I just kept getting normal markers... thanks!
I use these industrial paint markers for index marks and when I want super-permanent:

And these poster paint ones when I write on my kit:

Of the latter, sky blue comes up best for me

Absolutely correct MRF. Bought it last year, well before the 2A buying frenzy.

Still need to add the T1 and index the screws with paint pen. Red this time, I think
