  1. So it was loose to start with and now secure ? That pin is also to secure the chassis to frame and funny that on my G23 builds that's enough to secure the rear chassis and I haven't bother with the rear chassis screw on both guns but you're right if it stays put with the chassis in then won't bother doing anything else.

The pin was loose in the body but not by a massive amount just that i could push it with my finger, but as soon as it got to the chassis i had to tap it in.

thanks Got Wood? will get them bought.

  2. Have you put the pin in the chassis to see if it sticks? If it does I wouldnt worry. Youve got the screw and the trigger lever and there are plastic guides as well as the pin. Thinking about it in not really sure what the pin does. But like I said before mine was dropping through the frame but is rock solid now I've just tried to move the rear chassis and its not going anywhere.

  3. it seemed a bit loose in the grip but tightened up in the rear chassis to the point I had to tap it in. I have just tried to push it out with the tip of a screwdriver and its solid. My rear pin is a bit different my pistol started life as a g17 custom and I removed the rear thumb rest and hack sawed down the pin but it should be the same width.

  4. no problem, thanks again. I agree with you there something about no rail and straight grips.

For anybody who's thinking of ordering from rainbow8 I ordered late on the 28th, shipped on the 29th received today (3rd) and that was with the cheapest postage and a weekend.

  6. Need more HERA GCC kits! Finally said bye bye to the boring and extremely basic charging handle on mine and made a new shorter/lower profile one, just need to send it for anodising then find some money to buy more mags :D

are you planning on making an more? I would upload a picture of my hera but my photography skills are lacking.

  7. Ok I have a few questions there's a C a K a V? And a KV? What are the handguard lengths for each version.

The original ones not the railed up things or the rs. Just the oem polymer. I am building a project and need to pick the right length rail.

you missed one theres the g36c g36k g36e g36 the difference can be told by the holes in the handguard. c is 2, k is 4, g36 is 6

  8. Also, if anyone happens to have an utterly mint, box-fresh, flawless, perfect condition TM 4.3 Hicapa slide in Black they want rid of, I shall pay a fair sum for such an item.

Try elite shooting centre they have them for about £10

  10. Thanks for the info. There are SERPAs and Safariland holsters available (the real thing and replicas). I even have one of those generic cordura holsters that can be mounted on a MOLLE type vest. Price aside, between Blackhawk and Safariland, which is chosen the most?

i would say blackhawk but thats based on alot of pictures rather than just german ones i dont know how accurate you want to be
