Excellent review, thanks for this. As a PTW owner i'm very glad something like this came out. Cheap option for a back up gun/lower or maybe a semi-only DMR lower if the gearbox and motor can handle M140-150 springs.

CKinnerley yeah 14.5 midlength crusader tech barrel with their repro SF MBK556.
TBH i already had this planned with the rest. Going with a MVG and SF scout 300c on the illumination kit kind of copying what Steve and Chris were running in a MD class in october 2010.

AR57 Is a upper receiver that fits on to a standard AR lower. KAC PDW does not have interchangeable parts.

Im in the process of getting a URX III for my PTW and now seeing that makes the wait unbearable. Going to do similar setup of what Costa was running at a carbine class in april.

I preordered this straight away when it came on wgc and have had it for a while now. I suggest you remove the blowback operation rod because it grinds on the cylinder and gearbox case and fills the receiver with metal shavings.
Also ive never been overly impressed with vfc internals (owned a Scar H before) the gears and motor seem to have very little torque, they have trouble pulling back a systema M120S spring with 11,1v 15c lipo.
And the piston feels very brittle, the Scar heavys piston broke with M120 spring after few thousand rounds. Furthermore seems the AK is having some compression/leakage issues seeing im only getting around 100 m/s on .25g bb with the systema spring.
That said like Noveske im impressed with the external quality, id say this is the best area for vfc guns.

Hey anyone happen to know what threads the barrel uses? I would assume negative threads, trying to remove my standard fh but it wont screw to any direction. It seems to be loctided too.

Sky, where do you put the battery? I don't know much about PTW Batteries so if you hid it in the stock, or the tiny PEQ, much props.
Lipo in the buffer tube most likely.

My really old Gen 3 PTW. Its getting a somewhat overhaul in few weeks with new optic,ras, bipods and such.
