I just got a C-style rail from cobraairsoft.com - do a search for g36 and it will come right up as a marui original part for about 35$+shipping. I'm very happy with mine

I've heard there is a ducttape method for reducing the creakiness of a FAMAS - could someone explain that to me? I <3 my FAMAS, but with a nice heavy scope on it, it's even more creaky than before.

Here is my Marui FAMAS SV - I love me some FAMAS
I've attached a rail on the bottom of the handguard/battery cover - but I haven't found anything to put on it that I've really liked yet. Anyone have any pictures of a FAMAS with a short XM203? perhaps a short M203 RIS version?
I kinda like the look of the one with the mosquito molds grenade launcher on it - I might go that route.

That CA36 with KV stock is gorgeous. I see you have the star SL8/9 mag too - do you like the looks with that mag? I'm thinking of getting a few to go with my new flat top kit and scope for a more sniper look...

Thanks MR, but to be honest, that site is a cheapo 15$ dollar job from affordable airsoft - they are very close to me, and I thought it looked kinda cool.
It projects a red dot onto a plastic pane, and it's surprising how well it actually works for being so cheap. It's mostly metal and has adjustments for zeroing that are half decent. All in all, I really like it, and it was dirt cheap.
I love Nitro.vo parts, and that folding grip is awesome. I'll probably put one on every SMG I get from now on

I'd love to see more video game guns, such as the Halo weapons of course (could probably modify a FAMAS into the battle rifle, and the TM MP7 when it comes out into the Halo SMG - fun projects) but most of all, I'd love to see the G2A2 assult rifle from F.E.A.R. as a G36 kit. It's the RIS rail and keyhole stock from the SL8 mixed with a K front and suppressed barrel with a Cmag. I might try this sometime, but all I have is CA36 variants, and I hear the SL8/9 kits only work with the Marui...
The ASP rifle and penetrator are some other sweet guns from this game.

I hope you'll forgive the fact that I posted these in the "your weapons" thread, but I consider myself one of those drooling HK fanboys, so I would love to put these here too.
This is my UTG MP5, with some internal mods as recommended on these forums, a Nitro.vo rail sleeve (which took some major modding to fit on due to the UTG's unique front sight assembly) and Nitro.vo folding grip (love nitro parts), Classic Army flash hider and RIS handguard, cheapo folding sights and red dot.
And my Classic Army CA36 with Madbull XM203:
I'm hoping soon to pick up a CA36C to swap parts around with. I have a Cmag for the G36 that I want to put on along with a bipod handguard. Also put the C-style carry rail on with some high-end optics for a support weapon.
Then put the full size handguard I've modded to fit a bottom RIS rail and XM203 on the C, along with a K-length barrel and the scoped carry rail for a custom AG36-style weapon.
Hope to pull this all off in the next couple months...

Along with some internal upgrades as recommended on these forums, the UTG has a Nitro.vo rail sleeve (took a lot of modding to fit this on due to the front sight assembly being unique on the UTG) and folding grip, A Classic Army RIS handguard and flash hider which all combined cost 3x more than the gun itself... but the reason you buy a UTG is for a project gun...
I'm hoping to pick up a CA36c, to swap parts around with the CA36 until I have my dream G36s. I'll probably put a bipod foregrip on the 36 w/ my Cmag and the C-style rail with better optics for a support weapon. Then, take my full-size handguard that I modded to fit a bottom RIS rail and the XM203 on the 36C with a K-length barrel for a custom AG36 shorty.
So... are you willing to sell that C of yours?

I modded my handle to put a rail on it. A power drill, hex screws and locktight...
Works perfectly and is solid as a rock though, so I'm very happy. I have several scoped G36 handles, but after the mod, that one is my favorite.
I did have a flat top rail handle on it with a huge scope, but I like that look a lot better. I've put the flat top, scope and bipod on another G36 for a sniper variation. I'll post pics of the two together soon (waiting on one last part).
