Here you go: a cheap bipod that can attach to your existing handguard, or The G&P handguard with bipod is a great choice too.

Sorry, not talking about the metal RAS handguards - I think those would look terrible on an SL9 version - but that's just my opinion. Maybe someone will try it and prove me wrong, but I just can't picture it in my head.

Right, I'm speaking strickly about the G36 series, and stictly about the airsoft versions. I have yet to see someone make (an airsoft version, not real steel) version of the full length handguard that can accept rails.
I really wish someone would too - it would make an MG36 with Cmag much easier to use (when carrying and not using the bipod) without having to jury-rig a rail to the bottom of my bipod handguard.
I've seen 6ft4 with a full length, bipod handguard with an underrail and vertical grip. But, knowing him, it was a real-steel part.

That link is to a "full length" or "E" handguard - and I don't believe anyone makes a "full length" or "E length" handguard that will accept rails - in the airsoft world - the real steel does, and there is a real-steel under rail that goes pretty much the whole length of the handguard you linked to available at Cal's sporting armory (not sure if its ok to link to that site though)
Otherwise, lots of sites sell rails for the K handguard - which is not what you linked to (in case there's any confusion) - like these fit the K handguard perfectly. I have them and I can post a pic of them on a G36k if you need.
Edit: here's the link for real steel SL8/G36 parts: Cals' G36 accessories including a long forarm under rail. I just don't know of any airsoft long forarms that accept rails - only Ks and Cs.

Yup, I plan to do just what Jag suggested with a short, stubby supressor for that "G2A2 from F.E.A.R." look - just to try it (once I get an SL9 of some type).
If you do try it, be sure to post pics
edit: wait, if it's not 14mm - what then is the threading on the BE? Finding a silencer in that case could be pretty tough.

I have the STAR SL8 rail, and when I put it on a K, it stuck out past the handguard about 2~2.5 inches (give or take, I didn't get out tape measure).

So the gas block and outer barrel are all one piece? Is it metal? And it's not 14mm
so you can't put aftermarket flash hiders on it huh? Is Penguin right about the carry handle? no aftermarket ability there either? How is the scope? what magnification and how's the eye relief?I'll keep the +1s coming - you deserve it for putting up with all my questions

Please forgive me if this is already posted elsewhere, but can you do me some small favors? Can I see a closeup of the handguard pin, body pins, and pics of it with the handguard off? Also, is the barrel on and flash hider metal, negative threaded and TM compatible?
someone needs to do a full review of that BE! I promise +1s for your trouble. I did search to see if anyone has gone in depth on it yet, but all I find is info on the BE SL9.

How different is the CA33's stock from an MP5's solid stock, other than length? Could an MP5's sliding stock be modified to make an HK53? or is just too different?
Just curious - I think it could make a fun project.

I want one! However, I just can't bring myself to pay for RS parts for my airsoft guns. STAR needs to make a replica, quick!!!

Also, I just want to be on record as saying that I don't actually care if there is a real-steel equivalent or not for the way I configure my airsoft guns. I like the look of the SL8 rail, so I bought a STAR one to put on one of my G36s. One more cool accessory to play with.

I personally LOVE the SL8 rail, and I can post pictures of real-world militaries that have put that rail on every variation of the G36, including the C!!!
But not sure this is the place for that.

Sorry for the quality - I had this and sold it a couple months ago.
Patsfan's handle is a CA - I sold it to him, after I modded it to add a rail. It's very easy to do, and I posted instructions on page 36 of this thread.

Wow, you guys are fast - I posted this 90 seconds ago, and got two reps. I really do count it a priveledge to have been able to spend this kind of money on the hobby I love (I have a very understanding wife), so I really appreciate it - thanks guys.
I do have another G36 that is rapidly approaching the 1K mark - would love to get pics up of it when (and if) it does break the barrier.
Now, if I posted my gear, you guys would cry. All I can say about that is, I've used cheaperthandirt a lot...
- it works and I love my loadout, but it's sure not worth posting pics of. However, I am proud of my TRUsSome of the Armalites in this thread are so gorgeous. I used to hate Armalites, and lately, I've been feeling the itch. I keep telling myself, if I get one, it will have to be an HK416, but I don't know if I'll be able to hold out that long, especially not after browsing threads like this one!

CA36K
STAR AG36
G&P battery stock with custom battery, deans connectors and re-wire job
CA HK51 outer barrel (the G36 barrel is just too dang long - I've since changed this to a G&P K outer and steel K flash hider)
Homemade carry handle rail mod with G&P aimpoint and STAR sling pin
405mm tightbore with the HK51 barrel and a 363mm tightbore for the K barrel + other misc internal bits and upgraded selector switch, etc...
H&K USP slipon-grip
A whole mess of STAR midcaps (not pictured) and G&P grenades (not included in my price calculations)
This is one of 3 G36 models I own, and it's my pride and joy.

That's the G&P bipod handguard, and the bipod is not removable without a lot of effort. I sold my regular 'E' length handguard quite some time ago (probably to fund the bipod handguard), so, I'm sorry Ray, don't think I'll be able to post that pic.
I can retract the stock for you though... I'm also using an ACOG on that now, instead of an aimpoint. I'll put a pic up this weekend. (I'm still eagerly awaiting the CA8-2 so I can put together something close to the G2A2 from F.E.A.R.)

Hey n00bTard where did you get that SL8 rail?
WGCshop - I've seen them at UNco as well, but not Redwolf yet for some reason. Maybe they've gotten them in recently though, as WGC took their sweet time getting my stuff to me this time around.
And thanks seven, I've been fighting the urge to get a MP5K for a long time now - you're not helping.
