My breacher is flawless. On 6 shot mode as well.
But i agree , 3 shot is the best for outdoor.
If you install the Taiwanese high pressure gas flow valve you can up your breacher to 400fps range. It's insane. But i dunno if it will have the same endurance, haven't gotten round to getting mine to do any testing.
My tactical m870 on the other hand, ain't impressed keeps leaking.
Thinking of getting the g&p stock and the gas valve.
I wouldn't recommend the black guarder gas. The only thing it'll do is trip the overflow valve much earlier and you'll lose more gas.
Third party ag or g&p stock have their own pre-valve system, so should be able to cope, but they aren't exactly flawless and I've heard then tripping the gas flow on more then one occasion just on green gas.
So don't quote me on anything certain regarding the third party stocks.

Tell us how it goes!I decided to just buy the SAT valve anyway and see how it does with my angry gun stock. Worse comes to worst, I can go back to using the stock stock.
I really would like to use my tactical shotgun as a primary and adding an AG pistol stock is just pay of the plan to get it up to fps to make it effective
-
As far as that official word, they said it will take ar15/m4 gbb pistol grips and stock.
Whether those gbb items are to real steel specs, I can't honestly tell you
-
I get a consistent 5 BB, giving me 6 shots on one shell, which I actually like, since it mimics a full length real steel tube load.
-
Haha I did but its almost as much as the real thing!
ha. yeah. i think it's not worth it.
I think the TM tactical is slightly lighter. but with the aftermarket stock gas tank, it weighs almost the same.
-
I guess marui adament that the pistol grip didn't get loose.. Or removed
-
Ask wingmann above you, he's rocking the breacher with the angry Gun buffer gas tank pistol grip stock.Anyone know how to disassemble the grip on the breached yet?
I'm sure he did it himself, rather then at the shop
-
Fantastic! Now get one out for the m870 breacher please!
-
Oh sorry. Misread your comment, I thought you were talking about the AG stock on the tactical, not the breacher.I can't comment on the stock breacher. I fired a couple shells through it to test it was working then put the AG stock on it. Thats 7 shells on 6 shot mode with Propane too.
But getting back to that, have you noticed any internal leaking?
With the AG and G&P gas tank stock on the tactical version, people have been reporting leakage from the seal from the brass expansion cylinder where the over pressure value gives when using green gas/propane and higher.
-
So breacher can do 7 shells on 6 shot mode on green gas out the box, while tactical can do it with AG/g&p gas tank stock.
Nice.
-
Ah. Just to be clear, I had to transition to pistol because I ran out of shells to shoot.
I managed to shoot 7 Shells in 6 shot mode on one tank of green gas.
I guess if you are finding yourself shooting more then 7 shells and can't do a refill mid-game, then yeah maybe an extra tank is a good idea.
Edit: oh and perhaps you are playing in a location where the outside temporaries is below 20°C then I guess you will get a little less shots.
-
only problem ive had with that optic is it doesnt like being in the dark.
Yes i agree. the polarised filter on the front is difficult to use indoors, i've tried to remove it, but it seems to be shrink-fitted or maybe just welded in.
But it seems like if i got the element version of this beta 1x24 sight with automatic light adjustment, you can remove the polarised filter, but that was more expensive.
So I guess that's what i get for buying cheap! haha.
Oh well, i'll just run with this until it breaks or i can't stand it and just forcefully remove the filter.
-
That pretty much sums up with what I experienced.
Played an indoor cqb game yesterday.
Ambient temperature of 21°C on 6 shot mode with Green gas I've achieved 7 shells, 5 pumps per shell on one tank.
Had to transition to pistol in two games.
But that was wicked fun, 6 shell side saddle with one in the gun.
Reloading after 5 shots with a few times not knowing whether I was out or not, sometimes shooting empty other times quick reload instead.

Yep. Aimpoint H-1. I tried a Eotech MRDS first, but like the H-1 better. Plus, it's pretty much an absolute co-witness with the H-1 and the LPA sights. The MRDS was to high to be able to co-witness.
Actually i was thinking of getting that MRDS, because i wanted something low-profile and light. But after witnessing the incredible hop-up at around 15m mark, i decided to get a optronic replica of the Trijicon reflex 1x24 which does pretty good if just a little long in length.
But i've yet to try it out yet, so i might still go to the aimpoint if it doesn't work out.

I like your red dot sight! What is it?My turn to jump on the Marui bandwagon!
-Marui 870
-Barrel chopped to 14 inches
-Angry Gun mag extension cut to look like plus 1 mag extension
-Angry Gun side saddle
-Angry gun M4 stock adapter
-LPA front and rear ghost ring sights
-BCM Mod 1 gunfighter grip with top of back strap cut
-Aimpoint micro H-1
Edit: oh I'm blind. You mentioned it in your post.
It certainly didn't look like an aimpoint at first glance!

oh, the pins on tokyo-model.com.hk are also sold out.
But there is a solution, if you get a side saddle shell carrier it has those bolts. so you can get a secure bolts and carrier. two birds with one stone so to say.
You can get it here:
http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/angry-gun-cnc-6-shells-carrier-for-marui-m870-shotgun.html#.VAk1bPmSwk0

You can buy it on the Tokyo-model.com.hk store. It's an aftermarket bolt with a round head screw retainer to stop it from coming out.

There's still many armed forces that use the short mcs for breaching and it's a pump action. I think part of it is the fact it's simple and always works
You have a point, pump actions are more versatile, which is why the military still use them.
But law enforcement and other specialised unit are moving more into semi-auto short barrel shotguns for breaching duties. When they are only used for breaching, vital seconds between having to pump and rack to the semi-auto action makes all the difference as well as the larger capacity of shells .
Either way, if you have the real steel version of this shotgun, a side saddle would be perfect. Either for range shooting, hunting or self defence, usually what you have on the shotgun is all you got, it make sense.
It certainly helps in the airsoft game, then feeding it from a belt/vest mounted shot-caddie since you only have to load one shotshell magazine.
I found myself naturally falling into a very quick reloading pattern, only problem is trying to stop myself from using the over-top combat loading technique into the chamber, to get a 6+1 max capacity. it can really mess you up if you are well seasoned with the real steel version.
Which is why i've been eyeing the CAM 870....but it ain't exactly skirmishable and seems to be disallowed for CQB in Hong Kong in most airsoft groups. (too hot).
-
... And pump actions are poor substitute for a proper semi-auto shotgun breacher.Toy Soldier has some stickers so you can dress up Marui mags as hinge busters:
Sidesaddles don't make any sense on a breacher, though.
But it looks Tacticool and that's half the fun of airsoft.
-
Won't lie. The tactical with the pistolgrip looks good, with the extended mag tube it'll be better.Haven't seen a solid answer on this until now, so in case anyone else is still uncertain, the stocks are 100% interchangeable between tactical and breacher versions of this. Makes sense that it's the case, but nice to have it confirmed.
Not my photo or guns but here we are:
Cheers
Edit: Should also mean that buffer tube stocks will fit on the breacher too.
But the full stock on the breacher?
That's just no. No no no no.
Rather put an m4 style buffer tube stock with pistol grip on that.
Also, I realised the slightly longer inner barrels of the tactical with the stock gas tank mod is giving it real potential as a outdoor primary if you're the type to assault fast and the map has a lot of cover.
-
That's because the breacher gas magazine can take higher pressure. That's weird my friend says he only gets 3 or 4 shells from the full size 870 which I assumed to have a larger tank.
Want the breacher so bad.
It seems to be green gas compatible straight out of the box, unlike the tactical which is only rates for 134a aka duster gas.
-
Me? If I did, I hope it stays there, it's perfect on .2s
Oh, sorry. Misread your previous comment. Thought you were experiencing inconsistent bb trajectories with every shot. Which is a symptoms I experienced in my aeg when I got silicon oil on my hop up.
But I'm surprised you are getting flat flight trajectories on 0.20g.
Everyone has experienced over-hop and I've only recently experienced it myself.
What type of gas are you running the breacher?
-
Interesting.I filled it up with a can of gas that wasnt very full. today's temp was about 100 degrees. I got off 75 shots with one full fill. I will try again tomorrow...hopefully I can hit 80's
I can only get about 50 shots and a bit in 3bb mode @ 25°C ambient temp.
-
Are you sure you didn't get any silicon oil on the hop up? That can also affect your bbs
