Thanks for the advice on what to do before firing a shot Marky [uE]. I will receive my WE M4 from Landwarrior on Wednesday so it is good to know what to do before getting stuck in. I am hoping that I dont get a lemon, but then I guess that is what a warrantee is for. Have you tried using FogTech to combat the fogging and water? I did a trial at work where I coated half a pair of glasses with fogtech then left them in a -20oC freezer for 7 hours and when I removed them the treated half did not fog at all. I use the stuff all the time at skirmishes now but we dont get down to minus 20 in Scotland

Personally I am going to wait until January to see if the GBP has regained some of its strenght over the USD. If I had bought one of these about 4-5 months ago for the $460 It would have been about £80 because of the exchange rate (and at that exchange rate £80 was about $150!) So hopefully I can wait and get CO2 mags and a better deal all at the same time

GBBNut, I dont remember seeing anything about this previously in the thread and thought an aftermarket bolt stop was a requirement so this is interesting. What mod is needed to the stock one to increase its lifespan? Anything that reduces the amount of extra parts you need to buy and as such reduces the additional cost has got to be a good thing

Has anyone installed the Pro-Win Hop Up Kit for WA M4A1. Is it a metal replacement part? I can not find anywhere where it says what material this is made from. Oh, and if you use this hop with the carbine then what is the max length barrel that can be fitted to the stock outer and flash hider with no silencer? Is it 368mm? Cheers

I have spent a few hours now reading through all the posts in this thread and am left with just a couple of questions, it would be great if some of you WAM4 users could help me find the answers. 1) Does anyone know what the FPS output is with a full carbine length (360ish mm i think) inner barrel on Abbey Ultra gas? 2) What could I expect the life of the stock internals to be on Ultra Gas? 3) If the bolt stop and hop are the first parts to go, what is the best aftermarket hop replacement? and is the G&P replacement bolt stop up to the job? Oh and if anyone knows of the cheape
