Moderately bored. And I got the most awesome die-cast model I've ever seen. So I figured it warranted a change in wallpaper to honor it.

I don't think they care about how it looks too much. I'd say a long barreled, not super front heavy (like EBR) gun that has a monolithic top rail sounds like a winner in Afghanistan.
Hence the SCAR-H.

we dont use FN-made M16's, we use colt.
FN and Colt make M16s.
And if things go as they probably should,
FN and Colt (will) make M240s.

Silly questions: Is the HK416 getting a Norwegian type-classification, ie: AG3? And will any of them be made at Kongsberg, or are they all going to be made in Germany?

Haven't seen these posted anywhere, but figured they would be relevant to this thread:
And details are rather hard to pick-out in this one, since it was taken using NOD:

I have to be quite honest:
A-Those are amazing pictures.
B-Why would anyone fly an old warbird like a P-40, especially one in Flying Tigers trim, and not wear a period flight suit?

America vs North Korea...America has already lost.

How could you look into those eyes then shoot her down?
It's rather hard to look someone in the eye when they are two miles away, would you not agree?
Besides, that is why we have our own South Korean women to deploy against them.

Why your mother told you to never, ever marry someone involved in Mil-Sim events.

The reason why we continue to use a rifle is because we place a priority on HESH (High Explosive Squash Head) rounds rather than APFSDS. HESH for some reason I am unsure of is either only usable through a rifle, or is more effective through one. This is because the British Army know that very few opponents that we go against have effective mobile armour, and we prefer not to irradiate everywhere we go
120mm shotshells are so much fun, though!

Never seen a Challenger 2 before?
The barrel is rifled, it just looks straight as you can only see the last few inches; feel free to look up the exact number of grooves and # of degrees twist clockwise or anticlockwise etc.
Rifled for accuracy, unlike the American Abrahms tank that has a smooth bore, and fires its shells.. 'somewhere over there'....
Except the Rheinmetall 120mm L/44 cannon doesn't need rifling. Because the projectiles are stabilized by fins, rather than rifling.
And the M1 Abrams had a 105mm rifled bore cannon (made in the UK). We traded up to the 120mm smoothbore on some late model M1s and the M1A1 (through to the new M1A2). And it is not just our choice, either. The Rheinmetall 120mm L/44 is also the choice of weapon for the German Leopard II (although the Leopard IIA6 is upgunned to the new 120mm L/55 cannon), the most common MBT in the Western world, the Israeli Merkava III and IV utilize modified L/44s, the Japanese Type 90, and the South Korean K1 (with the new K2 utilizing the L/55 gun).
The smoothbore allows one to use a greater variety of munitions and... I have to be honest... the rifling on that big of a gun cannot be easy or quickly done.
Oh... and there are two Challenger IIs that have been modified to take the L/55 gun for testing.

You mean Umarex?

What I said an what I guessed are two different things.
In fact... I'm not really sure who else really does turn out a true .22 LR AR-15-type-ish rifle other than Smith & Wesson. Yes, there are conversion bolts, but not that many uppers or complete guns.
(As an aside, the magazine and ejection port reek of S&W's M&P15-22. And it's on the cover of the latter-half-of-2009 Smith & Wesson catalog that I only see at work about four days a week.)

I have an RCS and I like it. But I wouldn't go as far in my praise as Wayne.

Ditto what wayne said. Also have fun identifying this upper, guys.
Did I ID it in the firearms thread?
If I did, I won't guess it, here. (A PM'd answer will suffice.)

Nah, if L4byr1nth ever played MGS4 to ps3 he would only have a ps3 and sell hes 360, I got tierd off my 360 in like 2 months,
I got a PS3 last year to play MGS4 on.
I beat the game and, honestly, haven't touched the console in a loooong time. Maybe nine months. Only reason the thing is still around is because it's against my, er, religion to junk/sell/dispose of consoles. (I have both an N64 and a DreamCast floating around somewhere.)
IMHO, Xbox360 am better. I has both. I are, therefore, expert.

Snagged one. Only complaint is that the FSH is shakey and loose. The strange thing about it is that it only seems to effect the outer barrel passed the FSH and not the outer barrel under the MOE handguards.

Viele dank.

Threading on the flash hider?
-
What is the direction and pitch of the barrel threading?
-
Why?
(Also: I had their website bookmarked on my last computer... but that one died before I got this one, so I don't know what their website is. Any help would be appreciated.)
