  1. If the bamboo rail covers are installed in the same fashion as the Magpul XT, then the system is quite efficient. There is no chance that they would just ''plop off''. I've had Magpul XT's in the past, and they are really comfy and give the best grip i've tried in regard to rails covers. If I was to use some in the future, I would definitely take XT's again, way over KAC or even Tango Down. Altough the Tango Down rail covers are not bad either.

  2. Indeed,

    Paraclete Hard Plate Carrier w/cummerbund

    Paraclete GP upright pouch medium

    TAG 6-pack

    TAG Hydration carrier

    BHI small radio pouch

AITES Nalgene pouch coming tomorrow, in CB, dunno if i'll give it a spray or leave it CB... opinions?

For the headset, I think it's a Yeasu/Vertex only kind of thing... sorry.

  3. It's an ''heavy duty headset'' for Yaesu VX-6R/VX-7R/VX-177. Quality is great, the ptt and the connector are both made to retain the water resistance of the radio. Only weakness is the mic but I don't plan in submerging it :P Went with this headset because of the cheap price (around 20 USD) and because the VX-177 has a pretty unique connector for the mic/speaker... (Got it on ebay btw, store was radioaccessories or something along those lines)

  4. Really, if they are so cheap (and I do believe they are) why would you be worried about the finish of it? Even if the finish is perfect, the gun won't last long. I don't really understand that ''Hey, look at how much I spent'' Really, when you get a gun (not directed only at you svenbodybuilder) you should get it because you like how it feels and perform. Who cares if there are thousands of other M249 around, your's will still be unique.

Maybe a lack of self-confidence or a inferiority complex to feed? (I'm entitled to my opinion, and that's what it is...)

  5. armalite is being used as a generic term for every make of AR/M16 type rifles, it's like saying a kleenex or scott towel or whatever the term you want :P Picture threads would be a mess: LMT pictures, KAC pictures, Armalite pictures, Bushmaster pictures, Colt pictures and so on hehe

  7. Yes, they are, They are actually really good for guys who don't sweat a lot and/or guys that are always on the move. I'm getting the new generation ESS Turbocam tho, because when i'm sniping and in a fixed position for a long time in the woods, the V12 don't really cut it. Else, they are great and I recommend them to anyone who plays assault ;)

  8. Well, you would have to make a custom engraving, which is not really hard either if you have the talent or money. The markings and TRIAD where the only things not exactly like the C7A2 on both my and my teammate rifles. Atleast that's what a Cpl/c from the CF told me :P

  9. I think Souske was going for a C7A2? It's hard to replicate - I've never seen a real TRI-AD mount. I'm not even sure if they are available to the public. Nevertheless, it looks good enough to me.

Indeed, they are quite hard to get, only way i've found would be to buy a real C7/C8. However there are tri-rails systems that look a bit like it. I built a C7A2 myself, and it was pretty easy... A teammate also made one, but he had some issues, because it was based on ICS ######. :P
