  1. They will not stop supplying WE parts, they just changed their supplier. Instead of ordering directly from WETTI they switched to another distributor. ....

I wonder if "the other distributor" will get enough parts from WETTI (in a reasonable time). And if: why can he? And is "the other distributor" WETTI-approved? What about warranty?

And if the other distributor can supply, why isn't it possible for Tactical.... Tactical IS on the "WETTI worldwide net" list, so in my very very humble opinion this would make them a bit priviledged WETTI-partners, no? And if even those can't get "the service" that is not good news.

First idea that pops up is: the "other distributor" is NOT an official WETTI-partner. Bye bye "look for the 'buy the real WETTI' - feeling". And that is (was) what WETTI was all about, no?

And about the European places to buy WE: I know all of them. Germany and surroundings do NOT sell full auto. UK do not sell to "outside UK" (due to UKARA).

Safara does not have had WE parts for ages (I think).

By the way: from the list you give for EU-resellers: only Tactical and Specshop are (were, in case of Tactical?...) official WETTI partners. (And Sniperairguns, but that's "no full auto". Although they are the "sole products and parts" also for Belgium. Lookes nice "on paper".)

And there are no official WETTI partners in the HK-region. So when one buys parts there (where they are available / affordable from time to time) the officials here can say "no warranty" when sometyhing (else) brakes.

"Service" via the Worldwide Net of approved WETTI - partners...? Sorry, I have my doubts.

And again sorry to be off topic but I think this is important stuff to talk about in the longest WE-thread ever.

  2. Off topic; I know, but rather important to us WE-GBB fans IMHO:

On the TacticalQuartermeister (part of WETTI's WorldWide Network, until now) site it says

    "WETTI...

We are sad to say we will no longer be dealing with WETTI for WE items. this is down to WETTI no being able to give us the service we needed. We have now ordered rifles and mags from another supplier and hope to have these in asap."

Another shop who did care leaving the famous WorldWide Network...

Also the WETTI WorldWide Network claims Sniperairguns (Germany) is there for Belgian customers... I would like to know how long it would take to get a full-auto WE-GBB via them (they can't import nor sell full auto > 0.5Joules). And at what price.

I like the WE Gbbs, but I totally dislike the unprofessionalism when it comes to service. And this, ladies and gentleman, is going on from the very very first rumours about WETTI and its "WorldWide nework that would solve all problems".

"WETTI is a busy man" I kept hearing and reading. Yup, could well be. But his "busy-ness" doesn't improve the poor after-sales-service.

Gonna have a look at the AGM after all I think. Plenty of parts at very reasonable prices, and available in many places.

Come on WETTI, get your act together (and do NOT "promise". "DO"). Thanks.

  3. Have found the original post... my bad

Will do this as well. On the other hand I'm going to try and put some extra material on the bolt catch. This way it will engage much faster. I think that someone allready tried it but just by glueing it..

I've put a shim in, didn't really help.

Then I loosened ("unscrewed") the stock-tube 2 turns, now boltcatch is working. Did you already try that?

  4. Do you mean further in towards the receiver? The edge of my buffer tube just clears the little nipple that holds the buffer in; I don't think it could be screwed in any further.

I think you need to screw it OUT about 2 turns (that helped for me and I think it's mentioned somewhere in this thread).

  5. I've put it there:

    washer.jpg

Between the bolt catch and the receiver :).

As you can see, it's very very thin and Translucent so it's very discrete.

Now my bolt catch stay straight when the bolt catch plate push it up and it catch the bolt with a larger surface than before.

How did you knock the pin /axe out? From front to rear or vice versa ?

When I try (very gently) it won't move in any direction and I don't won't to ruin it.

    Thanks!

  6.

Just had a look at that aggma article.

    Seems interesting. Seems very LATE.

    And certainly "in a store nearby in 2012 - 2013" ?

This is the 4 th generation hop-up (and barrel and ...) and WE still believes we should buy this again and again (at the prices the "sole distributors worldwide, if you can find one" ask?)...

If I had bought (but I couldn't because there was no supply, great) every new barrel / hopup / surroundings and some spare hopup rubbers (because, remember, it was a lucky draw to get useable ones) I think for that money I could have bought a nice AGM RIS GBB with plenty of affordable and available parts to play with.

But remember, the WE is such a great gun.

  7. WETTI? Who was that again..

oh, the guy who came here to have cheap beta testers for his rifles and than left without a sound...

Yep, the same guy with the "World Wide Network" :-).

For over half a year there has been en French company mentioned to take care of France, Belgium, Luxemburg: they have disappeared.

The German company mentioned has some ridiculous prices for some items. IF they have items...

Seems they have inner barrel with "new hopup" finally. Yeah, half a year after it was advertised and two weeks before yet another "new version" is there. Extremely professional handling of parts for "professional weapons training systems" one must say. And I do not blame the German company, because I'm willing to believe the problems are "higher up" (down south-east, that is :-)

The whole WETTI-thing seems to have been again a lot of hot air IMHO.

The Airsoft Buddy thing: since a new website was spotted wich containes plain copies of the AB - one, my "con! con! con!" alarm went off.

I'm not telling AB is the con, but someone is or was planning to be abusing his business. So I think.

I can only hope all will come to "as good as it can get" end.

But if not, I think it's "bye bye WE" for a lot of people.

  8. There is a "new" shop out there for the WE M4: http://gbbparts.com/index.html check it out, espessially the welcome text, and then the picassa links in the "airsoft news section"...and now, quess who's picassa is it?

Texts and images are "copied" from the AB site...

In the text one can read:

"To order this new release, please order in our e-shop or send an email to enquiry@airsoftbuddy.com for quotation and pay to our Paypal account at payment@airsoftbuddy.com...."

    Nice find, Eliminator.

The domainname is registered at a Dutch registrar... And nameservers are .ru.

Doesn't "feel" very trustworthy to me. Looks as if someone is planning a "take the money and run" business. So I think.

  9. Anybody got news from AB recently?

I read at some other HK-shop's webpages there is/was some holliday oct 25-26.

Perhaps thta's why things are so silent at th HK front.

But I get the impression to these last weeks the HK-webshop-people are very very silent.

  10. Airsoftbuddies shop has new chormed (funny how this type is being copied over and over again:-))... chromed inner barrels with a new hop-up rubber (seems it's no longer green but black now).

Anyone has already tried these new new rubbers? Are these rubbers available somewhere? Is it only the rubber that's new or did the barrel change to?

    Thanks.

  11. I just noticed the Sole German (Austria, Swiss) WE-dealer finally has the M4 CO2 conversion-kit in stock.

That would be great news for us European neighbours.

But there is a big 'but' IMHO:

Their WE M4 GBB CO2 conversion kit costs 69 Euro !

    69 Euro = approx. 103 US$ !

Whe all know most (HK)shops have the conversionkit priced at 39 US$.

    39 US$ = approx. 26 Euro

So the German store adds 64 US$ pure profit, based on the End User Retailprice in most (HK) shops.

And this is not "free shipping"....

If WE is charging that much (more) for the items they send to Europe... Then I will have my conclusions.

And if it's not WE, it must be the German Sole WE-people who are trying to earn a lot of money.

Not only do I think they got this conversionkit much too late, but at this price... I won't buy.

    Just my idea.

  12. I'm following the KJ M4 thread lately an I've made up my mind. If WE isn't going to support his costumers soon with good fail-free parts and the like, instead of producing yet another platform who will have plenty of flaws then I'm selling my WE M4 and will buy me a KJ very soon...

I've bought it 4 months ago, in the meanwhile it's not skirmishable due to broken parts, FPS to high, aftermarket parts that look like sh*it, no support from WETTI and almost every shop that's out of stock on spare parts...

Isn't the KJW model the one with the "rubber band" ? I wouldn't trust that either...

But I feel just the same about WE for the moment.

In a post a bit higher someone points to a webshop in Macau that seems to have the CO2 conversionkit for the WE M4 in stock.

"Great". At least ONE shop in the whole world seems to have what we want.

But: I think the whole "WETTI - worldwide" idea was there to get localised service / shops / parts.

According to the WETTI website there is one "sole distributor" for Germany/Austria/Swiss and another one for France/Belgium/Luxemburg.

In those 6 countries with those "sole partners" there seems to be no shop who has "those parts we all would love to get our hands on".

The service was great a couple of months ago on this forum, things looked very promising.

But day after day things start to look as if only a lot of "heated air" was sold.

    Very disappointed, me.

  13. That's simply because it doesn't make sense to put small amounts of parts in the webshop. Sometimes they also have "leftovers" from scraped guns, which are as good as new, but cannot be sold that way. No sense in putting those online, too.

At the moment they do have the TSC CO2 nozzles, which are very rigid and consitent in power. The "original" CO2 kit is almost impossible to get, since most of the production seems to go into the new guns right away.

Will the TSC CO2 nozzle fit in the pre/non-co2 internals (part 112) ?

    I think it won't.

And about our German friend's webshop: if I had a webshop and I know "everyone" is looking for, lets say, the "CO2 conversion kit for WE M4 GBB", I would certainly advertise this and make it "findable" in my webshop.

That's why I think they (and every other webshop I know) do not have the conversionkit in stock. And this is going on for quiet some time now.

And I'm affraid that, when WE can shift some parts to the "let's sell these as conversion-kits again" side, there will be no interest for it anymore.

I know my interest is getting less every day.

  14. Hi folks,

me again with the same 'monthly message':

-the company mentioned on the WE site that should be 'the sole' one for France, Luxemburg and Belgium (and I live in Belgium)... Their website seems to be for resellers only. And the name just one shop in France who, they claim, should be a WE-selling one.

I had a look at this "Paulette" shop: now (after a very long time) they finally list the WE M4 and Scar GBBs. Prices are rather high.

But I can't find any parts / upgrades in that shop.

The German 'sole' one: has now a lot of TSC stuff in. But still NO CO2 COVERSIONKITS for the We M4 GBB.

They claim "one should give the a call to see what's available". I think that is where the webshop is made for.

WETTI seems to be very busy. Not seen him arround here for quiet some time I think.

I'm affraid that, when the situation regarding 'official WETTI guns -and-parts' in my part of Europe doesn't change very soon I will have a look at AGM. Seems to be parts everywhere and a whole lot cheaper. Even when I import those from HK.

  15. How many people here have recently ordered from Airsoft Buddy? I placed an order just over two weeks ago and nothing is happening. I've sent two emails inquiring about it and still have heard nothing. I know one other member is having issues as well.

I ordered $350 worth of stuff, you'd think I would get something.... :ranting2:

The 3 weeks old 'out of office' message is still there...

I think he is still out, or very very busy. Or ill?

But it would be smart for them to remove the old "out-of-office"...

  16. Question for WETTI:

Is the "WE SCAR-L CQC Gas BlowBack Rifle (Dark Earth)" on UNCompany.com a "WETTI" version, or a WE?

(With all this version-talk I don't know what to look for....If there are difference: what are they?)

    Thanks in advance.

P.S. I ordered (again) the WE M4 CO2 conversion set, at yet another shop: "sorry, out of stock, can we sell you something else?"....

  17. Sorry to go a bit off topic again, but:

Still no decent reseller in Europe.

Still no "co2 upgrade kit" in the only webshop of the only WETTI-approved European webshop I know (Sniperairguns.de).

Still no "part #59" (and others) in a European webshop as far I know.

This "worldwide network" does not seem to work in our European region, in my humble opinion.

But if someone knows where to get the (CO2-upgrade and other) parts for the WE M4 GBB in a "shop nearby" please let me know.

I hate buying outside of Europe these days. Some years ago I almost never had to pay extra custom-fees.

These days most of the time I have to, and sometimes the customs-fee is the same amount as the items I bought (certainly when some HK-shop forgets to add the needed paperwork...)

Airsoft is becoming rather frustrating to me, perhaps I should look for another hobby ;) ?
