  1. Were not exactly a team. ie. we dont have a team name, or requirements, but were all good friends who go to the same school, and who happen to love airsoft.

    aaaaaaaand, tactical piggyback

  2. ACOG, thanx a lot..

And because the gun is already heavy, the SOCOM stock will not be an obvious addition in weight..

sorry, but it will. My G&G SOPMOD/SOCOM stock is quite heavy, but i like it. puts more weight in the back of the gun. i cant speak for the SOCOM GEAR version, but id assume its about the same weight.

  3. PIC request, can I have a clean M16A4 with PEQ 2 on the top rail just in front of the front iron sight and an ACOG. :P

doesnt exactly meet your requirements. but i figured it close enough. it looks much better with the PEQ on top, but it partially blocks the ACOG. maybe if you had a VFC PEQ, or a lower profile one, then it wouldnt get in the way, but i cant say for sure.

  4. Erik, i dont know if your aware of this or not, but the HK416 iron sights are not the same height as regular M4 iron sights. so the HK416 BUIS you have on your gun doesnt line up properly with the triangle from sight.

  5. Why the ACOG for CQB?

its not for CQB, i just prefer a shorter weapon. the gearbox is shooting upwards up 420-430fps, and im getting around 220ft range, so it definitely does its job in the woods. so the ACOG is nice for checking the path up ahead and getting a closer look at the "dark spot" in the bush, and a boost in accuracy.

  6. POS iPhone. <_<

thats an oxy-moron if i ever heard one. ill trade you for my NV 2 :P . my mom has the 1st gen iphone, and its pretty damn nice. i cant imagine what the 3Gs is like.

regardless, ive never seen the KAC handstop used like that. this is how ive seen it used.

    to each their own.

  7. the upper for my VFC 416. im working on the GB right now, getting it ready for a CQB game, and installing new wiring. the G&P ACOG just came in today, so i thought id snap a few pics, even though the lower is in pieces.

sorry for the rather shoddy pic. but its a VFC 416, its a bit different now though. and no, its not in this thread because of some uber expensive optic. most of the money is inside the gun, with a bit on the outside.

ill try to get a better and more recent picture.

but a quick parts list of the externals:

    VFC 416

    G&P 4x ACOG

    G&G SOPMOD stock

    Surefire 6P w/ R2 upgrade LED

King Arms full steel Noveske KX3

  10. here my CYMA AKS74U. ive been kinda torture testing it lately, burying it, then leaving it there overnight, dragging it behind my car, tossing wood in fire, kicking it everywhere i take it, ect.

so far nothing bad as happened. funny thing is my friend dropped it on my carpeted basement floor, and the hinge for the battery cover/upper receiver thing broke. it was an easy fix, but it so far nothing has broken other than that.

    parts list

    Guarder Infinite Torque up motor

    element gears

    KWA piston

    KWA piston head

KWA bearing spring guide (yes, the KWA M4s use a V3 spring guide)

    Guarder SP100

    systema bucking

i havent used any sandpaper anywhere on the gun other than a tiny bit on the flash hider, but after dragging it behind my car is where 95% of the wear on the flash hider came from.

anyways, enough talking, here are the pics.

EDIT: heres the video of me dragging it behind my car. im driving with my friend hanging out the back filming in. sorry for the crappy quality, its from my phone. the first run was video taped, then i rolled the gun over again and did the other side, and also kept it on the gravel for alot longer than the first run. enjoy!

  12. took some pics a couple weeks ago before i shipped out my SRC 416 for a CA SPR.

    SRC:

    P1010011-4.jpg

    VFC

    P1010010-5.jpg

the VFC has a G&G SOPMOD stock on it, but i dont have a buffer tube lipo for it, so im currently running a ghetto rigged intellect 9.6 2000mah under the stock

  13. Sigma, you should wait to put in the bore up until after youve upgraded the spring and everything else. And not to be a jerk Versus but unless thats a custom built M1014 that youve done some crazy stuff to, it doesn't really fit here. To get a true DMR it takes some serious dinero

ive been tweaking it a bit, and right now its probably doing about 410ish fps with all stock parts, other than a new hop up chamber an bucking.

its getting about 210' range as of now, and i havent even began to start throwing money at it.

its getting pretty much gutted soon.

    Guarder Infinite Torque Up Gears

    Element Half tooth piston

    G&P M160 motor

    SP140-150

    edGI 6.01 or Promy 6.03

    KA hop up chamber

    systema bucking

    SCS nub

    AB Mosfet

    11.1v Lipo

    *Maybe* the AJAX STS

i think im gonna sell the systema bore up kit, im not positive yet, but if anyones interested, throw me a PM.

if its getting 210' range now, i cant wait to see what happens once its shooting 500fps and with a tightbore.

  14. Not to rain on your parade sigmaboy but CA does make ribbed cylinders

dont worry, my parade already got rained out. someone else informed me that the new CA 7mm gearboxes come with the ribbed cylinders.

i have a systeam bore up kit lying here, but the CA one gets surprisingly waaay better compression. so im leaving that in there for now.

classic army M15A4 SPR with crane stock. i was told it was all stock CA, but he shipped with the upper and lower receiver separated so itd fit in the box. and i notice the cylinder is an silver/chrome, ribbed cylinder. all the ribbed cylinders ive seen are bore up cylinders, so i guess it isnt stock CA, which im perfectly fine with :P

the hop up is broken though. ill try swapping a few parts with some spare chambers i have lying around, but im planning on getting a new chamber anyways.

the fps is great, ROF leaves quite a bit to be desired, and the range is poo right now because of the hop up. but the externals are amazing, no wobbes at all.

its not quite a DMR yet. im gonna bump it up to 500fps and make it semi auto, and get a big *albatross* scope. but until then, this will have to do....
