  1. thing is I have one but not a Dremel, but one of those own brand DIY store ones, but in all honesty I haven't a clue on what things do what :(

Isn't that a tad drastic, there mr Azulsky? and surely PDI parts should already fit together all nicey nicey since they cost so blooming much?

  2. is that a joke?

it wasn't meant as a joke, but re-reading it i can see how it could be taken as a joke, sorry if it caused any offense or anything, it genuinely wasn't meant that way.

I genuinely meant that i would buy one, so that when i got around to getting a L85 i could put it on there, personally i would probably have to have one on a L85 if i did have one, it just suits the weapon to the tee. tbh im slightly annoyed at my self now for causing this miss understanding

    sorry again

  3. Really like the looks of this from Dboys. Shame they are so hot on the FPS. Wouldn't have a clue how to downgrade so would be a little worried about getting one.

if you don't know how to downgrade it there are numerous retailers that are out there that will happily downgrade it for you at a cost, that said if you do want to have a go at doing it yourself im pretty sure the people on these very forums would be willing to help guide you throu it :)

  4. does any one fine the G&G receivers slightly annoying?

Just tried to fit two of my other stocks (classic army and one tokyo marui) on and couldn't get the front rear pin in but the rear most pin went in fine, any one got any ideas one why?

  5. @ Chaoslord800: only thing i could suggest is is to check the wiring, and check if you haven't got the Tamiya head thing isn't on the wrong way around, have another look throu often the littlest mistakes are the one you miss

@ Azulsky: my god that looks awesome not so sure about the shiny metal cocking tube thingy, are you using a plastic body or a metal body?

  6. Remove the handguard. (you may have already) Take out the selector switch. On the opposite side there should be a screw where the selector moves the other side, take that screw out and pull the selector switch out. Remove the little plastic housing on the back of the gearbox, and then it should come out without any issues.

wait what? you can leave your gearbox rear wired like this:

if you look at the back of my gearbox you can see the plastic part with a cut out top (the SG1 plastic thingy doesn't have this cut out, this plastic thingy is from my MC51), you need that cut out so you can run a from there up and along the left side of the gearbox (left side if you look at it with the loading nozzle facing away from you).

if you look down the rear of the upper receiver you'll see this:

    03082009177.jpg

basically the wires need to go from the back of the gearbox, down the length of the receiver on left hand side, left of the hop unit and then out the hole circled, making sure you have a bit of excess wire, so you can easily connect and disconnect the wiring from the rear of the gearbox, if you need to get at the gearbox for some reason.

here's where the wires would come out of the upper receiver under the hand guard:

Depending on how thick the wires you use are you may have to split the upper receiver into the two halves.

I have to apologise for the rubbish explanation but hopefully some one can clarify what I'm trying to say better, and/or you get the gist of what I'm trying to say.

  7. if i remember rightly there's a Classic Army one

did no one read my reply? you can order one from ASG or a Classic Army retailer

    EDIT: WOOT 666 posts XD

  10. they are doing those fixes i show them when i was there (thanks to RS or Stealth or whoever made that manual for fix +other fixes that is needed to be done for Semi/Auto fire, is not ready yet so those are still the old batch surely)

O so your the one who downloaded the file i uploaded :) and tbh i don't remember where i got it from

(the file i uploaded had the piston mod and disabling the blowback thingy init)

  11. hm... the internals look dire if your wanting a better/replacement piston :( do like the idea of the micro switch in there and i really hope that wires just there cause it taken it out of a grove and not just place across a gear

might have to wait and see about the TSI since the Ares is looking a little too grim for my liking
