    slide stop, front strap checkering(err, golf balling), thumb safety...

     

    small detail, but most 1911s are only differed by small detail...

     

    Wow didnt even notice that, I dont know much about 1911's, but looks close enough to me :P

    0nslaught: I've used a Canon AE-1 program in college, with a 50mm lens. That camera was fully manual and didn't have any fancy settings or autofocus. In my opinion, it's a great starting point and can teach you a lot about photography. Hope this helps.

     

    Thanks for the quick reply, yea ill look into this camera. im going to head to my local photo store and see if they have that camera, thanks again

    the RIs is a Larue model im pretty sure, shouldn't be hard to find.

     

    Also the LWRC that haley is using what rail system is on the front? Is it TROY? If so i think i found the new front end for my KA.

     

    Its not a LT rail, its daniel defense.

    @ BloodyBiscuit, sorry but i dont think there are any replica rails for that DD model. find your own and make it similar to that setup, i believe its 9.0 inch

    dam no under folder =< is there a way to fit ar stocks onto an ak???

     

    the ak74, has a really large flashhinder, is it removable to put the AK47 flashinder on?

    Okay, that looks right :P

     

    I'll go digging for parts, it looks like the lower rails run down most of the handguard area, unlike the UTG rails. Hmn...

     

    You sure? i thought so too when i looked again, but ya you can see in the picture that the rail goes almost to the receiver under the rear sight block. if you look at the UTG picture, the one where its installed on the AK, you can see the lower hand guard rail goes all the way to the rear sight block as well. and if you look really closely, it almost looks like the vents on the upper hand guard are the same as the ones on the UTG.

    awesome. howd you get your desk top set up that way? is it just windows 7?

     

    NVM, i read your corner.

     

    im thinking of switching over from vista(plainly on how cool it looks), how is it? does it nag and run useless things like vista?

     

    Im really liking windows 7. ive been using it since the beta build 7000 and i have to say, its like windows xp but with the vista facelift. the build string is up to like..7229 right now but im too lazy to download it since newer ones just keep coming out :unsure:

     

    i really love the way the task bar is especially. youll find that 7 is a lot like vista visually, just with far better performance and functionality. very user friendly too, i suggest you try out windows 7 :P

     

    im not sure about the running useless things, but performance wise this os is far better than vista.

    Drake did you use Krylon? im painting my cqbr in that same scheme, or i plan to. could i pm u and ask for some tips? this is my first time painting

    Are real M4's oiled though? I don't see a reason to oil an aluminium receiver.

     

    Nope.. lol

     

    is that gun oil supposed to be put on receivers? isnt gun oil put into the gun? and tbh that shiny finish doesnt look realistic at all...
