Does the KWA M4 use a Commecial or Mil-spec buffer tube?
Commercial

Just wait a bit for the new 'power modules' options (very accurate fps rates) from a 3-rd party manufacturer the we just endorsed. I'll have more info. here when their products hit the market.
400 FPS please
Also, any word on higher capacity magazines?

Do you have the explosion diagram posted on the wiki?

Speaking of.....
Kraut, you will need to get your new WE M4 overhauled once its in your hands from Kai.
I see he threw in the towel yesterday, selling his to you.
Once you get it, we can see whats going on.
Yeah, I figured I'd have to tinker a bit. I'll update you once I have it and test it out.

I see a lot of discussion regarding different parts failing. At around how many rounds does this occur? Just flipping through the posts makes the WE seem prone to parts breaking, but I can't come to that conclusion without knowing the type of firing schedule.
Keep reading. Problems and solutions have been presented.

How about the set that Kraut has a few posts up. Are those interchangeable?
Yes, the mic is completely changeable to the right side with no issues.

Some jerks were jacking the price, BUT it was brand new never used.
Also, I posted this in the gear section, but there's a lot of Comtac owners reading this, so...

$250 on eBay.

Just arrived today:
Now I just need to get an ICOM PTT adapter. These things are expensive!

Could someone post a picture of a WE mag next to an AEG mag? Preferably something like G&P or similar.
Thanks!

I may try to widen it a little so I can get closer to 400 FPS.
Let us know how this turns out and how you did it.

Well, tax return is on the way, so I'm going to spend most of it on this bad boy. I can't wait! I only wish there was a way to push the FPS a little closer to 400, ability to use AEG TBB and hop up rubbers, and higher-capacity magazines. 30 goes real quick if the gun isn't very accurate.
Anyhoo, I can't wait! Thanks for posting a lot of useful information, guys. I've read the entire thread and bookmarked what seemed the most important.

Air Force seems to be the most blatant about rocking Multicam. Does that give hope to ABU being replaced?
No. Only SF use it.

The SERE instructors here at Tinker wear TruSpec MC TRUs when doing field training, so it looks like it's spreading to a lot of units.

Trigger safety, eye pro, etc... tsk tsk...

I can't find anything in searching, but is there a large battery foregrip for a full-length G36?

Two Christmas presents shown here. KWA G36 and a gun rack hand-built by my dad. It looks great, but was a pain to move into my place.

I have a question. Can large (40 round type) MP7 mags fit into an MP5 mag pouch?
Darkchild
Yes, my friend uses MP5 mag pouches for his extended MP7 mags. They fit snugly and don't fall out (mounted upside down).

Azulsky, I agree with you for the most part, but I'd much rather have a good fixed blade(I.E not a KA-BAR), and a folder, since a folder has far to short of a blade and isn't near as strong for pounding, cutting brush, and splitting wood. But, a intermediate sized folder is better for doing more prescise work, like medical work, preparing small game for food, etc.
Fatal, IMO, I'd much prefer boiling to water purification tablets, but again, that's just me.
In my survival training, we used the larger fixed-blade knives (similar to KBAR) for the heavy work, such as making kindling, dressing game, making the fire/shelter, etc. I used a Leatherman for the smaller work, such as cutting para cord, eating the game, harvesting edible plants, etc.
Tablets arn't bad, and I'd rather use them in conjunction to boiling. But sometimes you can't boil, but you can drop tabs in a canteen.
Here is a good source for line gear.

Of course, tailor everything to the mission.
