  1. Personally if its not RWD or 4x4/AWD then its useless except for going to A - B.

FWD is just pointless, get to 200BHP and you get torque steering. On top of that cant drift, cant off road, cant do anything fun except go semi fast....

Why spend 20K on a Focus ST that can just about go straight when you could spend 8K on a Skyline/Supra/S15 Land Rover (anything but a Freelander)/Toyota Land Cruiser, Scooby/Evo, MX5/RX7/RX8.

Many many better cars for the same price. However that said give me a Focus ST/RS with 4WD then *fruitcage* me will I go to town!!!

Dont get me wong some FWD cars are OK though they have massive limitations on what they can do compared to other cars.

Many say 'oh but insurance and tax is too much' I pay less on a TD5 Defender + Tax than I did on a 1.4 Fiesta. Friend of mine pays £600 full comp a year on a V8 petol Defender, £800 on a fully comp, customised (different engine 1JZ) S15 including 2K glass cover all 22.

Just amuses me why companies make FWD cars when you can buy more fun for less!!!

    Maybe because "it sells!"

And most of things you said about FWD are like 20 years old.

  2. Talk to a decent Airsoft techie and all will tell you the same thing

AVOID this gun like the plague !!!!

It is in the top ten of the worst / most unreliable Airsoft guns ever made

Unless you wish to spend lots of money on v hard to find upgrades and change 90 % of the internals it will never work for any usable amount of time

An absolute lemon of a gun !!

It's not that bad, just make sure you don't spend too much on it.

That other Tavor, TSI I believe, them acting like it never existed, is far worse that this.

Lets not forget there are many guns that are terrible, unless you have never witnessed the first Chinese horde.

I bought mine cheap. 200EUR, changed for about 70EUR in parts to SHS parts and shoots like a dream.

The previous guy had it running stock for more than a year too.

Besides, what is a decent techie these days?

  3. 2 and a half months with no news is not a good sign, have you tried phoning them?

Paypal usually recommends you wait one month before going forward with legal procedures, but this is way past waiing time...

Why should I phone them for something they are required to do?

Either way, I told them to either 'gimme back my money!'

Or send me the goods pronto!

Last option I see is go to the shop in person.

It wouldn't be the first time.

  4. Hello all,

Anyone ever ordered at this shop?

I ordered some ATACS material beginning of July, and always receiving the same message.

They will send it by the end of the week, and I will receive a tracking number.

It's been 2 and 1/2 months later and still nothing.

They won't even reply to my last mail.

And all my mails are in German, so it shouldn't be a language problem.

I am not used to this from German stores.

I always had good service from German companies in general.

Anyone have an idea how I can turn this situation to become more productive?

    Thanks in advance.

  5. Sorry about the double post. For the life of me, I can;t find the "edit" button right now.

Neovenom, a couple of questions about that awesome build:

    1. What did you have to do to get an M4 style buffer tube on? Does it install "normally" or was there any special modification?

    2. Does it use a v2 gearbox or a proprietary one, and does it take real steel or v2 style pistol grips, accordingly?

    1. find a good torch to heat things up, then screw the stock off.

Then I simply installed a G&P GBBR stock tube. No modification needed.

    2. It is proprietary. the pistol grip is a Magpul PTS MOE GBBR grip, but it does take RS grips.

Might install a MOE K grip later on.

Chevie, that's nice, is that a PS 90 flashhider?

  6. Wow. Where'd you get the MRP upper? And if it's an AEG can I have the MUR upper?

I got it from a complete AEG.

I am sorry, you can't have the MUR upper, you might be able to buy it. :)

what kind of sight is that?

It's a Walther competition II green dot.

    Very cheap,but nice and light.

It's placed on a Madbull rail riser.

  7. Reason ?

There are serious technical issues with G36, related to heat created while shooting in harsh combat environment. Lost of zero, etc. Ergo - polymer is not THAT good, when one want to put some reliable rifle together... ;)

doesn't a standard colt m4 blow up faster than a G36 can melt?

  8. Now this is a nice mod.

    Was it hard to make?

    Only in effort.

Removing the stock tube is not an easy task.

I had someone help me heaten the front end of the stock, so it would expand a little.

Trying to screw it off like a normal stock tube didn't do the trick.

And we used two wrenches at the same time.
