Hi there guys. I've just got a KJW P226, and quite a few parts are broken (the hammer, the left side of the hammer housing, and at least one of the silver bits inside the hammer housing.
Anyone know if TM ones will fit? and if there's a UK stockist for either?
also, i'm certain i'm missing some springs.

Bear in mind it IS coming all the way from china/Hong Kong. its not like it's coming from london.

Does the inner barrel match that length? what i mean is is the inner barrel 1.5cm longer than the star too?
also, off topic, any chance of a reply to my PMs?

Also, it looks as if there's not a guard around the mag release, a la the star/real one. could you confirm that as well, please?

Very nice review FarEast. Any idea on what the FPS is?
Also, in the last two pictures, it seems as if the Army L85 has a slightly longer outer barrel than the star, is this just perspective or is it actually longer?

I'm loving this new gear so much, I can't stand it. Oh and my hydration is coming along good. I drank 2L of water today, and it all comes out clear as can be. No details necessary. I'll try to drink another 2L during school tomorrow, and then drink as much water as I can sitting around a nice fire tomorrow night, while you all are sitting at home browsing arnies.
You need to drink more if you're going to try and ... pre-hyrdate? is that the word? you're supposed to drink 2L of water each day normally, so try upping it to 3L today. then when you're on the op, just drink whenever you're not moving/shooting/dieing/hiding/etc.

I'll post a pic of my hair soon, if i can ever get around to taking pics. At the longest it's as long as an MP5A5 with the stock fully in (something i have close to hand and also that i know you lot'll know, i dont make a habit of measuring things with guns

while we're on the subject, i remember clicking on a forum used to open it up with the threads in descending order as to when it was last posted in, now it just appears to be higgeldy piggedly. Any idea on how to fix it on my end, or if its possible to do it server end?

Like sledge said. you showed up 2 months before the end of the first world war. real useful, there. and the second world war you didn't do much better. Admittedly, you did help, but you didn't "save our asses" in those wars. i mean come on, the UK doesnt even have that many donkeys, and they were most likely all on the farms.
Again, its not like the USA 'help' in wars. Hey, remember that time in Iraq when two of your pilots shot at a BRITISH convoy? or the time your anti air missles shot down one of our planes?
And hey, remember that time in Vietnam when you were beaten by some farmers with chinese guns? And that time in Somalia when you got completely thrashed by... thats right, farmers with guns again!
and to make this relevant to the topic, now.
we CAN carry knives, so long as they're sub (that means under, or less than) 3" (three inches) and dont lock. And you really dont know that much about the UK firearm laws, do you? It's perfectly acceptable for us to own that shotgun, along with various other guns. In devon you can own a .50 M82 no probs. My history teacher has a Lee-Enfield SMLE which works beautifully. Get your facts straight before making an arguement

nobody in the airsoft world is perfect. nobody. They're either too expensive, too cheap, too un-inventive or too plasticy.
I've personally seen a CA MP5 (With that 'fabulous' 1 peice barrel thingy) break clean in half. was made of nothing better than standard pot metal. For the price, i'd rather a decent strength plastic body and a tightbore as standard for that extra £30 or so.
Personally, i've never had a non-TM AEG, and it probably wont ever change. at least that way i know its reliable stock and it can be easily upgraded both internally and externally. I dont particularly care for the ICS split gearbox design, as in my eyes its just one more thing to possibly go wrong in the already complex mech box. And i'm not a fan on CA as they just regurgitate what everyone else makes - example, the 'SLR SU', the SCAR, and now the DSA58 or whatever it is (FN FAL clone). If a manufacturer can't be that bothered to come out with new products (Type 89, AKS-74, FAL, SA80's, etc etc) then i'm not inclined to buy from them. At least with ICS they're tyring to be innovative. same with VFC, Star, Innoksatu, etc etc.
So yeah, nobodys perfect, but hey, its airsoft, does it really matter?

also, what IS it with people making bullpups with the mag so close to the rear theres no room for the firing mech? look at any real bull pup, P90, FAMAS, AUG, each has a reasonably large bit *behind* the mag/magwell.

screamin weasel got his new CA249 and boxmag from there for around 500, i think.
very very good service, and they go out of their way to find thigns for you.
