I like it a lot more than I thought I would. With the steel slide and the new grip style compared to the USP it's a very satisfying gun to hold and shoot...

I'm pretty sure I pm'd you like 2 years ago for dimensions for that gas block and you got me started on the 3D model before finally having it CNC'd

Most of the time it's the recoil spring, which makes the cycling sluggish since it takes longer to return to battery. The VFC M&P and the PPQ are both pretty soft spring, but their slides are also pretty light. Would be harder to refit heavier spring on those platform I think. I am guessing the gas system are alright because VFC likes to make them full auto for whatever reason.... The Hi-Capa one happens to fit here, and Hi-Capa platform has lots of tuning options.
Oh this cycles with a light-ish can hanging on the barrel too...

The murmur of the Taiwanese board is that VFC will probably make steel slide for most of their stuff on the aftermarket side also, so I'd be interesting to see their new products coming too...

Kinda took the plunge and got a KWA one with RA-Tech steel slide set plus the 16mm threaded barrel. I've had some steel slide Glock but this is a beast....runs better than TM Glock with steel slide. I don't know what spring RA-Tech(through AST) sold this with, running the gun its snappy, but when you are cycling it definitely feels kinda sluggish. I have a spare Guarder Hi-Capa spring so I swapped it out after cutting it to length where it can still lock back, and it seems to run better.
I'm pretty used to the unwieldy USP grip, this feels much nicer....

Found a spare recoil spring, I think from one of the Hi-Capa build before, and replaced it on the gun and seems to have made a difference...

KWA HK45 + RA Tech steel slide and 16mm threaded barrel. I can probably use this as a hammer...
Shooting it the recoil seems fine, but manually racking the slide it feels like the recoil spring needs to be stiffer...

The thing I don't like about Marui's, its that KSC/KWA's factory frame is always nicer than Marui's...
Also atm the RA-Tech's steel barrel, at least the threaded version, looks nicer in KWA with the 16mm+ thread...

Well that sucks, and also it seem Gunsmodify are not making much for KSC/KWA platform neither.

Ok some other random HK related question....Umarex/KWA/KSC HK45, can you fit RS sights on them?
