At least take the internals out while your doing that!
May I ask, why your sanding the lower frame to begin with?
I guess because he couldn't take out the right side thumb safety that's why the internals are staying in?
If it's a metal kit, why not just give it a good wash with easy off oven cleaner (or any cleaning liquid that has sodium hydroxide....)

got two slides courtesy for sale forum here....
anodized paint stripped (easy off oven cleaner or generic brand with same ingredients). Polished, sealed with future floor wax....I did a sloppy job on some parts, but I'm lazy like that. Also superglued an aluminum piece to the worn slide notch of the PGC hi-capa slide....one step closer to some silver springfields

All my pouches are finally in after some minor hassles with Diamondback Tactical, and I'm ecstatic about it. The primary is almost exactly as I want it, and the secondary is working perfectly. All is in order for a few loadout shots.

for the replica DD rail, it's a bit cheaper if you buy direct from scope and laser's website instead of their ebay auction.

the copy version looks pretty close, I ordered one 2 days ago and will report back. I do have the G&P URX installation tool, which looks like it'll work for the dd lite also.

Don't know, condor pretty much started as a repro-gear maker. But honestly I can't tell the diff. b/t their multicam and the blackwater pouches I have. Probably takes one that's more familiar with the pattern. My experience with multicam consist of blackwater and condor pouches; and looking pictures on the internet......

AK104 is the compact version that uses 7.62x39mm. The AK74M is what represent a full length AK with polymer folding stock that uses 5.45mm (I'm excluding the Ak-107 since it is different than the average AK)

Woa, that's super nice. What base gun did you use, G&P? Are the uppers interchangeable with the MK12? I'm asking because I see the receiver tabs on there.
Thanks. The Mk12 mod1 uses VFC body and front set. For the CQB/R I used Guarder's New Gen, so they are not interchangeable.
