the shape of the stock is also off on the Danmu wood kit @ rsov, you may want to wait a bit cause last I hear Mr. Danmu was going to make a updated set with better shape...

Sorta off topic but is their a mid-sized barrel [between 14.5 inch (368.3mm) and 20 inch (508mm)] for Armalites? Links would be nice.

VFC AKS-74U w/Cyma AK-47 Hi-cap(copy of TM). My CA metal meds and G&P waffle will not fit the VFC Receiver...

it's just the bekas tiger bdu shirt folded.
as for the akm mags, they have the correct shape as far as I can tell. The color can be fixed with some paint. I'd rather not go for the guarder sleeve or converting real steel mags...

VFC AKS-74U DX#886...has now been internally upgraded with:
AE 7mm Oily Bushing
PDI 130% Spring
and that is all I plan to do beside getting a pbs silencer in the future.
the great thing about AKs that have wood furniture is that they look good with bakelite, plum, or black mags. Where as the black furniture ak-74 looks awkward with magazines other than black...

Ewwww, what scope is that? Get an ACOG or Aimpoint and it should look just fine. I'm waiting on my BUIS from keith at RSOV before my guns finished.

Ah, that's one nifty magazine! But I'd still rather have the old VN style mags. which is a point, I swear I saw a box of STAR or MAG VN style mags, probably locaps. Do these actually exist, or was I just dreaming or something?
I'm going to have to have words with the guy who's currently hanging onto my M4 and get it back... Preferably before all my bits arrive from hong Kong, too
At The very least, i want to whack my silencer on it and see if I can shorten the barrel...

Its the new style 20 rnd magazine, the only bit that puzzles me is how he got an airsoft version, I had no clue they made curved airsoft 20rnd magazines.

I need some idea's on how to keep my body together when the tabs eventually break on my TM V2 M4. Since I don't have enough money for a metal body and I won't for a while, my tabs may not last long.
take some aluminum sheets from a soda can, use the marui tabs as a guide to cut two aluminum sheet into the shape of the tabs, and then super glue them to the tabs to reinforce them.
same method can be used if you manage to break the tabs before reinforcing them, see this for some pictures, website in japanese

I wanted to get that receiver since it is one of the only G&P bodies that come pre-modified for crane stocks(the other B versions are blackwater and noveske, doesn't suit my Mk12 SPR project). The quiet-solo-go loud selector markings are fun too. It's perfect except that "anbti" so I'm still debating.
