new project brewing (can't get enough of compacts!):

 

SVI IED 3.9 !!!!

 

(so far, just a PGC SVI 3.9 slide w/ a piece of sh!t G&G breech (I need to just throw that out). .but I'm using it because it's the only metal breech I have w/ Infinity on it.)

 

slide is brand new(just opened). .the IED frame is beat up. .then again, my skirmishers are my showpieces .

Hey dude, is that a metal slide? I too have a 3.9'' SV and i can't find a metal slide for it anywhere!

absolute *albartroth*, got myself an SCW3 kimber TLE, was hoping it to have a lovely fixed hop, but noooooooooo, peice of ######, which means i am to sell it, not going to bother parting it at all, can be bothered lol, was only in it for the hop, and i couldnt even get that

Meant to ask, has anyone done a walkthrough guide to taking down an SV like the one Catman has done for the 1911? It's mainly how to strip the grip section so's i can change the grip i need to know. Any help or links would be most welcome.

*sigh* @ PoP -  that Kimber was my best 1911 by miles...

 

Oh well. What did you paint the lower half of the muzzle with? Finish doesn't look quite as nice as the rest of it (sorry ) and thats a totally genius manoeuvre turning the rear sight white, looks badass

Didn't paint the slide dude, it's an alloy replacement..... Glad you like the rear sight, had to be done! Funny thing is, if i'd known it was silver i'd never have bought it off you
