The part that needs to be filed on the SD chamber is the little ledge the hop kind of locks into. The shape is very rounded and muchy, where the stock Marui chamber has nice sharp lines. Without filing, the chamber can't unlock from the slide properly, so the gun locks up with each shot. Very annoying. The steel is good quality stuff, which means it's tough to file. Looks good, but tough to make happy.

How is that First Factory ourter barrel?
My 4.3 is going to need a metal upgrade soon, and I'm not sure if I want to go down the SD route again...their chambers require tons of filling.

The B&T handguards are actually pretty fugly, if you ask me. The carry handles they make are where it's at. The do a K handle/ras combo that gives you a single level, full length top rail. Ultrasex.

FX-05, new Mexican assualt rifle. Replaces the G3.
Its a G36 based, SCAR influences weapon. Looks very nice. Different sources say different things regarding whether or not it is produced under HK licsense.
I'm interested to see what kind of UBGL it is being speced with, if it is at all. I love me a good UBGL

Koba makes one, but good luck finding it. I've never seen it on an English website.

no the G36KV wich is made in norway under licsense from HK is only used by certain units, the G3A3 is standard issue.
Nope. G36KV is the designation of any G36K with a nonstandard optic or handguard. V means Variant, or the German equivilant. There is no production KV stock. Check HK's German website.

I love B&T's work....are you able to get it easily in Norway/Europe in general? I only know one US importer, and they don't have much selection...but they can get G36 RASs.

just ralised what the m4 looks like, the long barrel and mag barrel with thepistol grip stock, surprised they haven't made one yet, would be great, although they would expect normal prices of benelli, wouldn't mauri make it as theyare making the benelli's?
The M4 is semi auto only...so it'd be pretty dumb as a marui gun.

Not a ceramic, cermics are much much harder and can't be molded like that.

The RIS is made by laylax and cost £100 from z1 (www.zerooneairsoft.com) and product code is LXNRIS
There is a sim. one by made by PDI which i THINK is one that army SF use (someone correct me if im wrong), and thats the one i really wanted but couldnt find anywhere that stocked it. The barrel is the G&P one also on z1 (GP243) It wobbles a little so i had to insulate it with bog roll by wrapped round the inner barrel lol, ah it works.
[EDIT] yes it is/was, nothing internally is apart from the gearbox casing, army code g36 body to come and G&P battery stock
Any old large battery fits in the G36 stock, but it won't fold without the G&P battery. G&P batteries have a cell moved so that the stock latch can slip into the window on the side of the stock. Seach the tech forum, there are at least two good threads on the stock. It's great, I quite like mine.

I've got a question for all you shotgun guys.
Is it possible/worthwhile to add a RS stock to a Maruzen CA870? I'm planning on adding a Hogue stock to the G&P CA870 with folder, and I can't find anyone who has done something similar.

any tips for ras fitting anyone who has managed to do it? are the instructions self explanitory or will i need a degree in enginnering??
A RAS plops on just like a normal handguard...no hassle at all.

Decent velocity with green...thanks for the quick review. I'm looking to get some kind of rifle, but I'm leaning towards one of those $575 Tanakas...I'd like to find something cheaper.
