    I currently have a WAS Ricas Compact, but thinking about buying the DCS. Can you (or anyone else) tell me if there are any notable differences between these two?

    I read it's smaller than a Ricas, but I expect to fit most sizes? My chest size is about 44 inches.

    My Ricas Compact is currently heavily loaded, but would like to change to a low profile kit and preferably without pouches on my sides. Would you recommend to use it with a belt kit?

     

    And about the color. The Ricas Compact is WAS Professional Tan and the DCS is WAS Elite Ops Coyote Tan.

    Is the Coyote Tan darker? More to the brown side?

    Cant compare them because i never had the RICAS, but what i can tell you is that my chest is bigger than 44 inches and the DCS fits fine. And at a wild guess i would have to say the DCS would be smaller than the RICAS (but only marginally).

    I like it. I love WAS MC rigs and gear. Always fancied a DCS.

     

    Does the SERPA not interfere with the rear mags?

     

    Cheers :) TBH no, its a bug's nadge away from interfering with the mag release. I think the photo makes it looks like it does, but it just clears it.

    Im never buying anything else but WAS gear now, excellent quality, fair prices and comfortable, what more could you ask for......

    This is my latest incarnation of my Sentry. Started life as a standard G&P Magpul Sentry. It is now fitted with:

    Multicam MOE PTS stock

    Multicam MOE PTS grip

    DYTAC Multicam rail covers

    Magpul MOE XTM covers

    ACM MS2 sling

    ASAP plate

    ACM 552

    G&P 14.5" outer barrel

    6.03x363 tight bore inner

    PTS PMAGS

    Quick question though, need some help. Im wanting to fit a Noveske free float RIS unit, this one http://www.madbullairsoft.com/English/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=22_24&products_id=192 only problem is ive heard G&P upper receivers can have compatibility issues, does any one know whether or not i would have problems fitting this unit??     Looks nice dude - Out of curiosity, how have you kept the VLTOR flashhider from rusting? I'm not too bothered by it, it's just a minor annoyance. Using Lipo's or NimH's? (On the subject of which, just to echo what's been said, these things are designed primarily for 7.4 lipo's).

     

    To be honest i just wipe the thing down every time i get home from a game and that has kept the rust at bay (must be lucky lol) As for batt's i use HimH's more specifically these bad boys

    The only thing that annoys me about the sentry (and this is more my fault in the fact that i still haven't started using lipo's) is the battery change's, bit of a pain tbh.

    Had mine a year now and it still perform's. Ive recently installed a 14.5" G&P outer barrel with 363mm tightbore and new G&P hop rubber. Ive owned approx 8-10 AEG's and this is the best by far for an all round performer.

    My Sentry has a TINY space on the back side where upper and lower meet, yes. If the metal below had that line in black it would go unnoticed.

     

    Thanks wingmann, at least im not the only one :)

     

    Does any one have a fix for this? Im not after closing the gap up (not to bothered about that tbh) i just want to take the wobble out of it?? Any suggestions?

    My Magpul Sentry came today and im mighty impressed. But there is one thing thats bugging me......

    Does any one else have an issue with the gap between the Vltor upper and the Magpul lower? Mine ssems to have a bit of a gap (not massive) but enough that when i put pressure on the upper it 'clicks' down into the lower, and when i press down again on the front end it move's back out again? Does any one else have this problem. Like i said, the play in it isnt much (were talking less than half a mm), am i just looking for a little niggle thats just normal? Will it effect the weapon in any way?

     

    Any help would be cool :)

    Thinking about getting one of these bad boys next month, just a quick question though.

    Can any one confirm that the vltor lower receiver takes Magpul PTS PMAG's and feeds them with no problems? I currently run the PMAG's and i dont want to change to another mag.

    Wow. Magpulled 416's look amazing.

     

    Whats withe the hole in the magwell? So PMAGS fit?

     

    Hopefully the PTS EMAGs will work better in 416's. Mine are very tight in my M4, but Ive gotten used to it.

     

    Thanks :) The hole in the magwell is normal aint it? I hope so haha its a JG metal body if that makes any difference. And yeah the PMAGS fit, they are a little tight but they do fit and feed with no problems.
