Hah, yeah, it's a BelOMO laser. I've never seen one before but I just had to have it!

Jealous much?

Well, RealSword did not make a AKs-74u.
If they did then every other company exceot LCT will be out of business. XD
I meant compared to the 56, duh They could at least make a 56C
I'm temted to buy another 56 and give it a 74u-makeover myself!
Diezel: Looking good!
-
Haha, it's nice to see that you people know your place!
Nice looking RK 95, how's the quality?
I just got a VFC AKS74UN and it's ###### compared to the Real Sword, can't see why everyone likes 'em so much.. I guess it has something to do with the markings....
-
Nice!
What mag-release is that?

Howd you put that folding stock on the Type 56? I have a 56-2 and I have been wanting to switch the stock on mine for a triangular russian stock or a Tantal stock like yours.
It's a lot of work, required a mill.. Luckily I have a friend that has one
These stocks require the rear tang found on normal AKs, if you have a 56-2 then you know that you haven't got that tang.. So you'd have to install one of those before you can even start modifying the stock itself
Yikes, that thing looks coooooooool. Personally I like it without a flash hider at all, but if you were going to add one, I think the carbine (105) style or AKM would be best.
Thanks!
Yeah, I kinda like it that way too, but it really looks like something's missing And I don't know how reliable a real gun would shoot like this.

Yeah i know
This picture gives the colors more justice:

Thanks
I'm really happy with it, can't say that I want to change anything about it! The folder stays. The beauty with this is that it uses the rear tang, so I can switch to a full stock whenever I want (But nah, I won't).
I will probably go with a Bulgarian 4-piece flash hider/comp/whatever, If I can find a reasonably priced one. No way in hell that I'd finish this off by putting an airsoft-hider on it!
Now I'll have to get me an 74UN since I've got a TSL-03 laser coming in any day now

Rainman: Real handguards fit w/o problems on the Real Sword, but as blablabla said, it won't be accurate to the real 56 if that's what you're after..
Speaking of inaccuracy, here's my little frankengun!
(Yes, crappy pictures, cry me a river)
It's a Real Sword type 56, or at least it was..
All parts added are real, no copies, except for the PG for obvious reasons...
East German folder
Egyptian top cover
UltiMAK with an Optima 2000 on top (co-witness with the irons)
Romanian dong and handguard retainer
Cut down barrel with a Bulgarian FSB/GB up front
As soon as I get some money I'll get some sort of muzzle device for it
-
Update to my previous post, got some parts from WGC yesterday.
Parts list for now:
TM 1911a1
Guarder parts:
FMK
150% springs
Steel MSH, mag catch, rear sight, slide stop, barrel and barrel bushing.
LCT trigger
'Bobbed' original spur-hammer
The WC-grips are some WA-ones I had lying around, will change those since they're in bad shape..
I got a beavertail for it too (I actually got two since I messed up the order..) but I did not know about the frame being different on this model. Might dremel it out to fit later on but I kinda like it the way it is now since it's not biting my hand anymore after the bobbing!

I'm afraid that you will have a hard time installing a Romanian (if that's what you're after) on a 56-2 since you need the rear tang for these stock to work!
At first you need to have ot looking like this:
Everything removed (the square part that's sticking out on airsoft-variants of the AK..) leaving just the tang and enough for the rivets to hold it.
The most work is needed on the stock itself. I did not modify the stock myself and the guy who did it is banned from the forums.. But this picture should explain at least some of it.
Material needs to be removed and a spring needs to be added. It's a lot of work, but worth it!
But as I said, you won't be able to do this unless you get a rear tang. If you're good at riveting then there should be no problem modifying a real one.

I bought the gun in its current state so I did not install it. Seems like nothing has been done for the barrel to fit properly so I guess it's just fine
I have just placed an order on parts for this, will update on arrival!
-
Last question!
I noticed that they have this hammer in stock, would that work? It looks shorter, but is it enough?
Edit: Since its a picture thread..
TM with Guarder MBK, steel barrel and rear sight.
-
I could do that yeah, but since it's not steel I can't blue it afterwards and I'm not good with paint
Guess I'll just have to order it separately then. Thanks for the answer though!
-
I really don't like the look of co2-mags but I guess it's worth it! Nice gun!
Question to anyone who might know; does the original hammer (the old type, standard 1911a1) work with a dovetail grip safety? I'm guessing not, but want to make sure..
Wondering because WGC has no TM-hammers in stock and I need a dovetail because my hand gets bitten as it is now..
Sorry to ask this here.. Will post pics of my 1911 soon but want to finish it first!
-
I gave you my opinion on the ACM one and suggested that you should get a real one. Mind you, there are people that don't know what the airsoft-versions are copies of in the first place..
Anyway, that bolted on MVG looks like it could be quite nice!
-
the roob: Wow, I'm sorry that I've offended you. Won't happen again!
-
Or, since you're in America where you can get all the fun stuff, buy a real one! I have one, and have seen a copy and they're ###### compared to UltiMAKs.. (The Cyma one that is.. The LCT is probably way better if you're going for a clone.)
Is it really impossible to get one of the UltiMAK lower rails shipped overseas?
-
The pistol is gorgeous, but yeah, that light kinda ruins it
-
Since this is up for sale on a local forum, I have some fresh pictures
KSC 19 with G&G slide. Removed slack in trigger and stippled the frame. It's lovely, too bad I need the money more..
-
Thanks, AK-parts are cheap you know
-
Looking good uba!
Little update on mine:
The only thing added that's not RS is the pistol grip (nothing I can do about that I'm afraid...)
Base is a RealSword
East German folder, bakelite handguard and sling
Egyptian ribbed top cover
UltiMAK rail
Optima 2000 dot
-
That's definitely an AKM seeing as it has that brake, ribbed cover and 7,62-mag..
