  1. Bareknuckle's reaction to the KRISS weight concerns, a play in three acts.

    Act I:

Hey what's going on in this thread? I remember back in the day when Madbull was supposed to be working on one of these and one of my teammates was hellaz stoked about it. He even showed me the Future Weapons episode about it and everything. *fruitcage* Super-V recoil reduction systems, how do they work?

Hmmm... People seem to be having a lot of discussion about excessive weight. It can't be that bad. The thing's tiny!

    Act 2:

You have to keep in mind that the thing is like 4 kgs with the mag and a red dot

As a real 'MURICAN (these colors don't bleed!), kilograms don't instantly instill an understood sense of the weight to me. Besides, four is a small number, how bad could it be? Time to compare weight with an MP5k PDW or something.

    Act 3:

OMGWTFBBQ 4KG IT'S HEAVIER THAN AN M14 WAS THAT 4KG POST SRS NO WAI

    Epilogue:

At the end of the day, a well-performing GBB KRISS that actually exists is *fruitcage* RAD AS BALLS

    Edit:

IBMedic, that was hyperbole or just really rough estimation, right? Running by WGCshop's weight figure (which is 2.83kg unless their numbers are off), this thing is no heavier than than a CYMA MP5k PDW (2.75 kg, from WGCshop again). I don't think an MP5k PDW is an exceptionally heavy gun; I thought the MP5 series was like the most vanilla lightweight SMG series in the game of airsoft. Unless IBMedic was joking, I am expecting him to post a picture of his KRISS with an ELCAN on it as the "red dot" or something. Or, maybe his red dot is made of lead. That's one reason not to get Chinese clone optics. >:3

  2. Hey, if Vince with Slapchop can make a pile of tuna fish salad sparkle, you can make an AKSU sparkle. I actually thought the effect was pretty cool.

I think the Bulgarians have a 7.62 AKSU, but I think it uses an underfolding stock and a milled receiver. I always thought that would be a fun airsoft project.

  3. I know it's SLIGHTLY not feasible in real life, but I have a systema tightbore in there, using the scope is actually useful in this sense.

Plus, you have to admit, the gun looks *fruitcage* amazing with it on.

Ah, seeing an AKSU with a POSP on it reminds me of playing America's Army as the Indigenous Forces. Ah, good times. I never did complete the special forces training missions...

Oh, have you noticed any less accuracy from your AKSU compared to a full-sized AK? I'm thinking about getting one, but I'm wary about skirmishing in a woodland environment with a Mp5-G36c length barrel.

  4. Any Ideas when these will be available or sale from Redwolf

    Apparently, right now.

They're not quite the same models that Guns N Guys are selling, but they're the first examples of the G&P M4 GBBs I've found on redwolf. I think they're a lot cooler myself, but of course, they're more expensive.

  5. Just out of curiosity, why exactly wouldn't it work? I mean, is it a realism problem with the JLS model that I can expect to be fixed with the G&G model, or do real FN2000s and SCARs require different models of EGLM?

How is an EGLM mounted on an F2000 different from an EGLM mounted on SCAR anyway? Looking closer, I can see that the current airsoft EGLMs have the magwell grip thingy for the SCAR while all the ones I see mounted on real FN2000s do not. Is that the only problem?

  6. I have a quick FN-related question. Since the EGLM is the grenade launcher than the FN2000 uses, do you think one could attach the STAR EGLM to the JLS FN2000?

  7. I have a quick question for all those M14 owners in this thread. A guy on our team is purchasing a CYMA SOCOM 16 to use as a DMR rifle. Because some people on our airsoft team have had teeth shot out in games, many of us are starting to use paintball masks, including him. Using the CYMA M14 scope mount and high mount rings, would he be able to look down the scope? Looking at some of the beautiful guns in this thread, it would seem that this setup would mount the scope high enough that the mask would not interfere, but I'm not sure. Can anyone give me a definite answer?

  8. Lupus, your M4 looks awesome. Can I post a pic of it on another forum to show what can be done to this gun?

Oh, and the gun uses clockwise threading, right? That means if I wanted to get a Noveske Firepig, I should get this one, right?

In my opinion, the WE M4 needs it. I mean, seriously, if it can amplify the sound of an AEG (which makes very little sound to begin with), think about how loud it could make a GBB rifle!

  9. He's probably too busy enjoying the awesomeness of his new GBB M4 to post about it.

I really want to know more about the apparently fixed hop-up, because that could be a real performance killer depending on how good the hop-up is.
