  1. FYI: I just made the semi-only conversion to my fire selector, it works like a charm. But you have to work carefully and file that nub really flat or the gun will continue to shoot full auto...
  2. WETTI, with your kind permit I'll use your picture for an article about the semi-only-mod in the WIKI, thx!
  3. I have another technical question here, I want to replace my fire-selector. First, how do I remove the darn thing? Second question is, how - or where - do I modify the new fire-selector so the gun will only shoot in semi?
  4. Regarding the fire-selector: I asked WETTI some time ago about installing RS Fireselectors. He told me they would NOT fit.
  5. And another question from me: I got the DBOYS 3in1 metal M203 grenade launcher with QD barrel mount (Short) and I want to install it to my RIS. First off, I had to shorten the the weaver clamp for about 5mm so it could fit lenthwise under the RIS. Before that it would always get stuck with the barrel nut thread. Now that it does attach to the RIS, there's another problem: The front clamp is too low to wrap it around the barrel... In other words, the whole launcher is too low. Did anyone else encounter a problem like this with his RIS or launcher?
  6. I've got the same issues with AB (again), ordered Feb 2nd and got no nothing at all up to now. The last email I got from him was received on Feb 15th, but no tracking# or such.
  7. Today I received a shipment of 4 magazines, they all are leaking a *little* bit, but this will eventually cease. I paid 35€ / ~45USD each and received them after 2 Days from Belgium to Germany. Here's the link.
  8. You know that there's a topic search integrated in this board? Bottom left of the last post, klicketyklick, MK18 Result: First Post in this list by Kai Wolf: You're welcome!
  9. Hey all you propane-users out there, here's one for you: What's the big difference between propane and butane or a mixture of both gases in terms of pressure or usability towards the M4 and other gas guns? Most gastanks available here contain a mixture of ~80% propane and ~20% butane.
  10. Yeah, I think there was a misunderstanding - my tool was designed for the upper magazine valve, I should maybe have stated that more clearly
  11. No offense otto, but ther's a lot of people out there who are not professionaly working with tools, so any picture might help I, for example, could not get the valve in your picture off the silver rod. I didn't try too hard, but my usual pliers just scarred the rod...
  12. Update on my faulty valve: The problem isn't the valve. It's the magazine itself. It is the one mag wich caused trouble all along, with a breaking follower and bolt-catch-lever and so on. I switched both valves to both magazines. Both valves work fine in Mag#2 while #1 is leaking out gas. I may have looked in the wrong spot in my first post concerning the mag - the gas comes at the rear of the upper valve where the hammer hits, not from the upward port. A visual inspection showed no differences in both mags, maybe the factory drilled the hole for the valve a litte irregularly. I'll ask
  13. I've had difficulties with unscrewing the top valve too, here's ho I did it. I took a flathead screwdriver where the tip has a 1cm width. Then I took a angle grinder and cut a slot in it. Took less than 5 minutes to make it work!
  14. Hey folks, I couldn't find my problem in another post, I think noone hast posted that before. My other magazine is losing the gas really fast through the upper valve. I already disassembled it but it looks alright to me. When I fill in gas from the bottom valve, the gas immediately streams out of the top of the magazine, there is no pressure building up at all. Any ideas? There is definitely not too little lube on the orings, the plunger is moving easily...
  15. Hey otto, I don't know if I'm too late for that, but look here: Parts #59 for WE Gas Blow Back M4 93$ saved - how about 50$ for me?
