umm... that sounds good. However I have no comparision for I have a 90's era kevlar PASGT and that MICH-2000. They are different material so they would sound different anyway

 

Weight is a good indictator. As Drake says, the lable on teh inside. General feel of the helmet... a real one is made out of Kevlar, right? Well replicas aren't. They're fibreglass, so they make a different noise when tapped too.

hmm.. So you can't "fake" the labels? As in moving it from a real one to a replica one?

 

The price for a start.

 

Or if that fails check the label on the inside.

Since we have the highest number of "helmet geardos" in this thread I might ask it here: How can you tell for sure if a MICH helmet is real and not a good replica ?

Damn, you lucky Americans. You can buy real steel EOTech 553. They won't let me get one for I am not in the US. So I have to settle for the replica ACM. Can you actually buy the ACM 553 anywhere?

I know it has been told several times as well but.. I'd love to have an affordable AEG or GBB version of the Browning BAR M1918A1.

 

My second wish would be the Gepard M3 heavy self-loader sniper rifle But that I'd like to have with GBB only. (The RS one recoils)
