Horrible pictures, I'm afraid, but I may as well stick my TM-based SG1 up here.
What you may JUST be able to make out is that it's got a custom-made stock extendy doodad. So, if you feel the need to do so, you can adjust the length of the stock.
Unfortunately, due to total lack of time and funds, it's up for sale for, well, not a lot. Hint, hint

If you want an aesthetically pleasing but ultimately utterly useless replica, then yeah, KSC all the way.
It's realistic to the real one, but good GOD the gun is terrible. Weak recoil springs mean the slide takes a good two seconds to return to battery half the time, the safety is finicky and breaks easily, and the whole system is essentially the real gun's workings, fiddled slightly for airsoft use. This is fine in a real gun, with a huge hammer spring, but utterly useless in an airsoft gun. With any sensible hammer spring, the gun simply light-strikes 90% of the time, and with one stiff enough to avoid this problem, the slide struggles to push the hammer back, due to the low power of airsoft pistols.
Steer clear of the KSC MK23, and grab one of the NBB's. Lovely to look at and hold, utter pap to attempt to shoot.

I was experimenting yesterday and I was a little disappointed with the results.
I am considering putting some Pmag shells on my PTW mags, so I tried inserting a Pmag into my PTW. It fit perfectly. So I say to my self, "Why not try the KJWM4 while your at it?". It does NOT fit.
Has anyone else tried this with the same results?
I think it's important to note HOW it doesn't fit here. If it's too tall, then there's no problems (chop the top when fititng the new internals), but if the mag is too long/wide then it's a bit worse; nothing that can't be solved with some sandpaper or a dremel, mind.

Metal isn't infinitely superior to plastic in every possible situation, you know. In many, MANY cases, plastic is VASTLY preferable. I'd argue that the nozzle for a GBB is one of those many occasions.

One of my pins snapped in two as well, so I just got a set of Chinese anti-rotation pins. They look pimp and it saves me from losing the pins in-game (a worry of mine). I'd just get them from RSOV with other small bits; if it's under 1kg then you can do post office shipping. I ended up getting a steal sear, AR pins, 416 style pistol grip, and new alu buffer & spring over the summer, and the shipping cost me a whopping six USD, and took less than a wee to arrive.I must say, the GBB lark DOES look cheap if you get a KJW.... It's more expensive initially (by a fair whack, tbh), but the only things that appear to break can be fixed with bits from t_hum for not a lot of dosh... And he's working on mags that go into STANG/PMAG shells...

Aye, I came up with a shimming fix; basically make sure the flute valve is set to be a negative pressure one, and glue shims behind it so it sits further forward; same basic principle that the NPAS works on.
TBH, it's a moot thing to do nowadays with the clone NPAS; It's fine as a stopgap, but I wouldn't recommend it as a long-term solution when an adjustable version is around for less than twenty bucks.

The KJW won't break, whereas the WE SCAR will. Anything prone to breaking in the KJW M4 (IE, one or tow bits) can be ordered from cradle airsoft for not a lot of dosh.
And, AFAIK, there's few to no spare parts for the WE scar.
You WOULD technically save money, but there's nothing to break on a KJW. I'd rather have a gun that's proven to run over ten thousand rounds, and still work when something breaks, than something I've heard to be really rather fragile.

Special airsoft supplies seem to be the only retailer in the UK with it in stock (AFAIK), but I seem to recall hearing some not-so-great things about them in the past, so I'd be a bit hesitant to buy it from them...

Wow, just... wow... Watched this lot, and the disappointment is palpable. How much did you pay for this thing?
If this was marketed at clone prices, it would still be hard to swallow, by the looks of it. Shame, as I like the Tavor, and TSI always seemed to produce such great stuff...

Kingmob3 looks intresting to say the least. That makes me wish some company would release a GBB G3. But I guess i would be happy if a cloner company would just make a cloner all metal G3 at this point. Great gun again.
The rumour mill states that WELL is going to be releasing a GBB G3SAS sometime this year...
This is the main reason I'm keeping my G3 SG-1, just in case they do... Then I can build myself a GBB G3, if it's any good

Well, I feel I should stick something in here, as people have been misunderstanding stuff....
On the previous page there was a comment that the TK M4 would feature a negative pressure system.
Nowhere does it say that this is ADJUSTABLE. I would be VERY surprised if the japanese version of the gun had adjustable power. More likely, it's just a bog-standard Negative Pressure system. So stop saying it's coming with an NPAS, because, well, It's not....

And on the gun, I want thins, but lack of parts puts me off. I'm considering a JG. Huge amount of parts, and cheap price.
I think the single defining factor that will have me buying one of these is the gas consumption.
There's a youtube vid of someone (I forget who) getting off three full mags on one fill of gas; In continuous Full-Auto, no less. And If I read this here first post correctly, raven managed SEVEN mags worth of ammo on ONE fill of gas, with (I assume) some controlled shooting and use of semi.
That's seven mags at 400+ fps. If you drop the gas output down and lower the power, I'd be willing to bet that you could get ten mags out with one fill of gas at ~330 fps.
That is, of course, if I've read the post right xD

Well folks, *breathes heavily*, there's another testimony to the KJW's reliability. 14 mags out of the box and much, much more to come. I'd buy it if I weren't such a cheap *bramston pickle* and broke.
You'd rather buy a WA or a clone thereof that'll require you to spend triple what the gun costs to get it functioning Okay, instead of spending nothing to get the KJW working fine?
When I can afford one, a KJW M4 is definitely on my wish list. The AGM is fun, but for the sheer unrivalled reliability and efficiency... This seems to take the cake.

You're forgetting that this is made for the japanese market, which has a strict 0.98J power limit.
Marui PROBABLY know what they're doing releasing something that fires at legal velocities in the country it's intended to be sold in.

Give it enough time and somebody will find a way.
If i can find some detailed shots of the internals (specifically the bolt, of course) I'll see if I can spot a way to bring the power down...
EDIT: Looks like it's based on roughly the same principle as the WA system, with a floating valve in the nozzle. The same principle of shimming the back of the float valve so it sits further forward. It appears to be held in place by either one or two pins. Should still be possible to shim the back, same as the WA system.
'Course, somebody else will have to actually try it, as I have no access to a KJW M4, nor do I have the funds to acquire one...

I have what SHOULD be the 5ku sear, it's an ACM steel one at any rate.
Fits and works fine, drop-in fit.

From user reports, it seems like it, but the problem is that not many people seem to have it.
Best bet is to sell off the AGM and give it a go. Can't be less reliable than the AGM

It's used to push the mag release in so that you can remove it. I suppose RA-Tech assumes that noboy who will buy a burst kit will own, well, any form of stick.

That comes with a new selector too? Sweet, I wasn't expecting that!
I was thinking it was only going to be the, uh, other parts...In any case, it's nice to see that the selectors are included... maybe now I can get hold of a better one for my AGM

After fiddling around for a while (instead of working), I found out something interesting.
The TM Sig 226 (and, I assume, it's clones) can function 100% fine without it's outer barrel.
Just something for you sig folks to bear in mind, I suppose...
