Hudeani The Mg36 you have is a STAR correct? Have you made any internal modifications? And How was the performance stock? Sorry for ll the questions its just I am really looking into buying one and I want to get the opinions of people who own it.

They have flexible "soft armor" panels. And yes you can take them outh but then The flak vest doesn't look good.

Noob question, What brand of paint would you guys recommend for painting a gun and about how many coats are suffecient for it to not wear off?

How was your star g36 whe it was stock(assuming that you have changed the internals which I am guessing you have)?

Also WIth 40mm airsoft shells the lower the bb count the farther and faster they go. So a 120 round shell really is only good for really close quarters. 48 round shells are the best IMO.

Haha ya I trashed my g36 highcap when I got my G36 midcaps and it was way way too noisy. I am going to pick up another box of g36 midcaps soon. I think I will try and see how the King arms midcaps are since I got Star ones the first time. Plus 140 rounds for a Midcap seems excessive I wish I had gotten king arms in the first place.

The G36k/ G36 stock is about an inch longer than the g36c stock just so ya know. I understand the magwell thing though. I don't really have that problems as I use Bundeswehr G36 magazine pouches and they have plastic lined inside the pouch so that the magazines cannot catch on anything.

Here is a picture of mine. No upgrades external or internal. Only other thingi have bought for it so far are Mag 100 round magazines and an extra battery.

I myself, being in the USA, order all my Flecktarn and BW stuff from ASMC. Shipping time is usually 2 weeks. I have ordered from them 3 times so far and each and every time has been nothing but excellence.

Star G36s are worse than CA ones. I would say go CA again as you probably just got a lemon.

Whenever i saw this vest on online stores I always thought it looked a lot like a fishermans vest and could never be used effectively in the field. But after reading your review my opinion has changed entirely. Nice review!

Under the weapons picture section it says something about posting newley aquired items, yet the latest aquisition thread hasn't been reopened. Personally i loved being able to see what new kit fellow 'softers are getting in. Also the Flecktarn picture thread I would like to see reopened. That or make a new one that focuses more on Bundeswehr loadout pictures than just plain old Flecktarn loaduouts.
I think that the reorganization is good because i hated having to go through all of the pages looking for a specific picture thread. Only thing now to do is re-open picture threads that were being used, even if they only had 10 pages or so.

I have seen pictures of a classic army g36c and a JG g36c and the JG's are a more orangish redish color.
